We contracted Affordable Sprinklers & Lights at the beginning of December 2016 to install a sprinkler system (plant beds and lawn w/ a fertilizer tank) in our yard. Joe Clemens was very knowledgeable, helpful and easy to work with – he arrived on time and within 20 min he provided me with an estimate for a comprehensive design. He did a very thorough job, pointing out some factors we had not considered and ensuring the layout provided coverage throughout. Affordable pulled the necessary permits for a three zone, approx. 0.30-acre total yard install - the crew showed up on time and took approx. 4 hours from start to finish. The line to my internet service was cut by mistake, which was honestly not surprising if you saw where and how the line was originally placed. They quickly apologized and ensured everything was coordinated to get my internet service back up and running. I was expecting the yard to get a little torn up during install but the lines are barely detectable. A few weeks later they came back a few weeks later to make sure I was happy with everything – he inspected all of the sprinkler heads, showed and explained in detail how to use the system and how to change the settings for seasonal changes in weather, timers, etc. and also went through winterization and the best times to schedule for it. The total price was within our budget and we are very happy with how the system has performed so far. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family.

Easiest home project I've ever experienced. First class owner-operated. Considerable time was spent on our property to customize the irrigation and lighting systems. Great sense of lighting design which highlights both plants and architectural details. Hard working crews with little disturbance to established lawn and plantings. Crews came back to make owner initiated adjustments with no additional charge. First class plumbers adapted to our older water intake system. Great value for services provided. Had several other bids and Affordable Lawn Sprinklers & Lighting saved us quite a bit. I have recommended this company to all my neighbors! Wonderful experience with everyone from the owners down to the installers.

We used AFS to install a complete irrigation system on our property - .66 acre size. The entire process - from the first phone call/email until total completion was super. ALS were referred to us by 3 different Vienna families - and were they right! Joe, Reed, etc - everyone there was great - professional, highly responsive, intelligent - eager to help and assist in understanding the process, options, etc.. We created a very custom system to fit our watering needs - they were respectful of our property (and our dogs!) - it took all day to install (was a lot of work!) - and when they left they cleaned up so well it was like they weren't even here! We highly recommend them and would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Great price. Installed within 3 weeks despite the busy summer season. Did minimal damage to the lawn. They ran into a snag when the city supply line went off at an unusual angle from the main. They dug for hours until they found it and still completed the job in one day. Works great!
