We hired Alex and his team to install a drought-tolerant landscape in our front yard. After 50 years, the grass and shrubs looked pathetic. They installed a drip system, landscape lights, new walkways and colorful low maintenance plantings. The project was on time and on budget and our yard is really one of the nicest in the city of Orange. We're going to have AJ do the back yard now - and I can hardly wait.

I had a great experience with A.J. Horticulture when I had them fix the irrigation in my rental property. The tenants had left and I noticed leakage from pipes in some areas and dry spots in others. Alex first came out to diagnose the problem and came up with the needed solutions. The next day his technician arrived and fixed everything including digging up the dirt to fix a broken pipe, changing a couple of valves and adjusting sprinklers so that all areas of the yard get covered and reprogrammed the timer. I couldn't be happier!

Alex and his crew were great to work with and I would highly recommend them! I employed his company back around 2005 to do my home’s weekly landscaping. I also had them do a major overhaul usually once a year which would include the removal and or addition of certain plants and flowers, tree trimming, adding fresh mulch, etc. Let me point out that they aren’t just an average “Lawn care” company. Alex has a degree in Horticulture. His passion and knowledge in this area is what sets him apart from others. It’s the key factor in his company’s success and....why his clients properties look so amazing! I personally learned a lot from Alex. I was really clueless beforehand. He taught me about plants native to our area, which types were more drought tolerant and even how and when to prune my roses. Thanks Alex! I eventually ended up having to sell my home a few years back now, however, the new owners continued on with Alex. If you’re looking for a trained and hard working company for any of your landscaping needs, call Alex and his crew. You won’t be disappointed.

Our last gardener left our yard a mess, but Alex and his crew have made it beautiful again and our grass is lush and green again. I can't say enough about this company from their office staff to the weekly onsite crew. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend them for all your landscape and lighting needs.

Alex and his company completely renovated my front yard landscaping, including all irrigation, softscape and hardscape. We were very pleased with the quality of his work, how quickly it got done, and how he kept things in order and cleaned up at the end of each work day. I would recommend his firm for a residential landscape job without reservation.
