We were introduced to Adam of Akita Remodel when we began our search for building a Wine Cellar (via Jack from JDD Wine Cellars) which would be an integral part of a finished lower level of our new house. Adam's creativity and eye for detail were instrumental in delivering a finely tuned end result which includes an Office with custom shelves & storage, Wine Cellar & Bar area, TV viewing and Games area. Design layouts (wine storage, walk-in area, display areas, cooling requirements, etc.) went through multiple design changes and kept pace with the project requirements; all delivered on time. Adam's Wine Cellar ideas beautifully incorporated a custom glass door entrance, wine racking for standard and large format bottles, along with a display row with a slate wall backdrop with custom LED lighting, Delivery was on time and installation went well throughout the course of the project. We're very pleased with the entire installation!

Akita Remodel did a fabulous remodel of our basement in 2019. From start to finish, they were ultimate professionals, and took the care to make meaningful recommendations throughout the process. We were pleased with the overall layout, design and the superior finishing. Adam was great to work with. The project cost was accurate from day one. Everything he did was a custome job. My fireplace is beautiful the rock he pick out looks great. The cabinets he put in the bar and kids play room look fantastic. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone.

Adam is easily the most thorough, dedicated contractor we've ever worked with. We had a nightmare kitchen from the sixties that he took down to the studs and turned into the stunner we've got now. He made sure that not only was the plumbing and electrical up to par for the kitchen, but anything that was attached to it got his attention too. He was very easy to work with and wasn't afraid to offer his opinions to make sure you'd thoroughly thought through your own choices. We had a number of delays, but he made sure to let us know where we stood and how to reach him. We will definitely be calling him back when it comes time for the next project in our 120+ year old house. Sorry, Adam, now you're stuck with us!

My wife and I have relied on Akita Remodel for many projects in our house. Those projects have ranged from knocking down walls and making a dedicated mudroom, wiring the house with coax + network cables, redoing bathrooms, painting, tiling, building custom shelving and storage, replacing light fixtures, replacing bathroom fixtures, replacing our hot water tank, installing hardwood flooring, replacing our front door and installing new French doors. In every occasion that we have hired Akita Remodel as our contractor, we have found the crew to be detailed and methodical. Adam (owner of Akita Remodel) also has an eye for detail and suggests paint colors or alternative fixtures that end up looking great when the job is done. When all I want to do is stay out of making decisions so I can't be blamed for when something isn't perfect according to my wife, I know I can trust Adam to guide my wife into being happy with the decisions "she" makes. It has been a privilege having Akita Remodel as our contractor over the last 10 years, not only because Adam is thorough and detail oriented, but because he suggests alternative and creative ways of accomplishing the end goal, often times these suggestions have saved us lots of money. I knew that we would be happy with the work he does when partially through the first job we hired him for, I saw all the slotted screws in the switch faceplate were all lined up vertically - Adam took so much pride in his work that he wanted it to look perfect. When it is time for our kitchen to be completely gutted and redone, my wife and I will not even think twice about hiring Akita Remodel to do this. We know we'll be completely happy and satisfied with the end result, like we have been for the many jobs that we have hired them over the last 10 years.

Adam is creative, artistic and dedicated to completing his remodeling jobs with professionalism. He remodeled our bathroom and did an outstanding job. He also completed a few other things for us. We hated to see him go. My husband and I give him a 5 star rating. You won't get a better contractor than Adam.

Adam did an exceptional job. He is creative, enthusiastic and meticulous - by far the best experience we ever had with a contractor and a project. Adam built a beautiful wine cellar in my home. It consists of two rooms, one room is temperature controlled the other is not. I store my expensive wines in the controlled room and my everyday wines in the other. Adam did all the work, vapor barrier, drywall, floor tiles, electrical, wine racks, doors and painting. Every inch of construction was precise. Adam has great attention to detail and extremely neat. He cleaned up at the end of every day. I am very pleased with the finished product and would not hesitate to have Adam do additional work. I recommend Adam very highly.

From the input on the design, layout and execution the project went great. From the demolition to completion our home remained clean and our lives were not disrupted.
