Chris worked with us to analyze the option of renovating our home to meet our family's needs. We were referred to Chris Black by the designer we hired to plan the renovation of the common areas of our strata complex. As a strata council accountable for reporting to 49 individual owners, we needed a contractor who would keep us informed of the details of all costs, be mindful of our budget, let us know our options and seek advance approval for dealing with anything unexpected, and who would also be willing to take the time to meet with us regularly for the duration of the project. Chris more than met our expectations. He and his sub-trades were reliable, professional, efficient and did great work for us making our design a reality - and we loved that they cleaned up after themselves every day so owners didn’t feel like they were living in a construction site for several months.
