Alba helped us decorate when we moved into our house 12 years ago and made our furniture work well even though several pieces of furniture were not the right size for the new place. I like the way she works with your existing furniture and adds a few decorations to make it all come together. Recently, we were looking for an update going from our old traditional look (dark browns and reds) to a completely different and more modern transitional look (grays and whites). Alba did an amazing job coming up with great ideas with very little direction. We love our new look and have gotten many compliments! Alba is a pleasure to work with...very friendly, accommodating and patient. I highly recommend Alba for any project!

Alba has completed several rooms in our house. She is amazing to work with and really listens to what her clients want and hope for in a space. I am most impressed with Alba's talent to change a space by moving furniture to make the space look bigger. She also is so impressive with how she pulls everything together with art, accessories, etc. Alba has completed many rooms for me and has always exceeded my expectations for every space. Alba advised me on a major renovation of my home a couple of years ago (which I STILL LOVE). We painted the paneling in the den (the type of paneling with vertical grooves that you had in the basement of your parents' home), but I wasn't ready to make a decision about the picture frame ash paneling in my living room. There was a certain warmth to the wood, but it had always seemed very dark to me. After seeing another home where the same type of paneling had been painted, I was ready to tackle the project as Alba had suggested when I did the earlier renovation. What a transformation! New paint with accent colors and a painted ceiling, new furniture and accessories, new color scheme... I LOVE IT! I chose a couple of key pieces of furniture and Alba filled in the rest after we talked and exchanged images of rooms or aspects of rooms that I liked. The new sofas (which I chose) are very tailored, so I mentioned to Alba that I was concerned that the new room might be too cold and formal. Nope! It's perfectly comfortable and so much lighter and brighter than before. I would not hesitate to recommend Alba to anyone looking for a designer.

Alba listened to me about what I wanted my apartment to look like when finished. She did an excellent job and I’m so pleased with the outcome. Traditional and cozy.

My expectations were exceeded, I love how Alba listened and created what I wanted! I receive numerous compliments on my Master Bedroom and love how relaxing it feels.

Alba was a joy to work with. Really listened to the joint desires of both my teenage daughter and myself and put together the perfect blend of what we were looking for. She deserves more than Five Stars! I have worked with Dorsch Interiors, specifically Alba over the last five years. In fact , we are just completing the last two rooms in our home; Alba has done them all and she deserves at least six stars. What I like most about working with Alba: she stays on budget, she always has creative ideas I would never have thought of, and she is a pleasure to work with. She never tries to impose a style - - she helps you find yours and then creates a room you didn't even know you were dreaming of! I came home from an extended business trip and walked into my newly designed and decorated room, I literally gasped with pleasure. She is a miracle maker!

I really enjoyed working with Alba to beautify several rooms in our home. She has a great personality, super easy to get along with, as well as being so talented when it came to bringing in color, design, and flow. She was great at follow up and keeping the project going despite my crazy schedule. Alba Dorsch of Dorsch Interiors has helped with designing two homes for me. Most recently she helped as I downsized to an East Dallas Bungalow. She helped select paint colors, arrange furniture, hang pictures and purchase additional items needed. What I value is that Alba works with your existing items and builds from there i.e. she does not feel the need to "redo you."
