American Solar Direct

I have a 10 year old solar system that had been experiencing intermittent inverter failure that was negatively impacting my daily solar production. Since my inverter was out of the warranty period, I was having difficulty locating a company that would come out to my home, diagnose the issue, and provide a solution. American Solar Direct was incredibly helpful. Nate (their service technician) was knowledgeable and able to articulate the issue (my old inverter was on it''s last leg - this is what I ascertained from his technical explanation). I was pleasantly surprised to discover Nate had a replacement in his van and within 30 minutes of his arrival, I was up and running again! I''ve check my inverter over the last several days, and my solar panels are running as well as they were prior to the inverter failure. I''m very happy with American Solar Direct and would like to commend Nate for his exceptional customer service.

My family hired American Solar Direct in November of 2015 to install solar panels at our home in Lake View Terrace. We looked into 7 different companies and were waiting for a company we could trust in giving us the right products and program that would fit best. I did the research for my parents in finding out how to get the best overall savings for our family so we decided to finance the system with no money down. ASD would monitor, maintain and guarantee the production of the system. The process although rather longer because of LADWP was really smooth because of the communication that was provided by their customer care team and account manager. We were in the loop about every step and were quite satisfied with the workmanship of the project as well. They painted our conduit to match our roof and our siding. Not to mention, the upgrade on our electrical service panel was phenomenal. We were really impressed! We are currently referring ASD to our friends and family. More than happy to share more of our experience with anyone. Our bill last month with the AC running for 7 people living at our home was $25 with LADWP! Talk about about savings we're instantly seeing; last summer we paid an average of $300 monthly to LADWP!

Sales was not a pushy deal but very informative with lots of time for detailed questions. The project was handled with as one of the best I have come across as I was given a project lead the responded to my EVERY call and email. They kept me up on the project, actions, next to do, etc. I can see why this company does all their own work and is one of the top companies in the Solar sales and service
