About Us

Andrea Jacoby is a New Jersey Certified Interior Designer (N.J.C.I.D.), certified by the New Jersey State Board of Architects, and has been practicing Interior Design in New Jersey and New York since 1989. In addition to her interior design business, Andrea is also a yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance. The clarity and serenity of yoga animates her interior design aesthetics and her project management skills. Andrea is a volunteer with the Valley Hospital Auxiliary’s Kitchen Tour, a biennial fundraiser for the hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. As a committee member and sponsor, she created the staging and setting for the kitchens on the tour. Andrea came with her A game! She successfully chose colors for our new home efficiently while considering our input for the feeling we hoped to capture. The colors work amazingly well both individually and together. She also went the extra mile to hand deliver the paint chips when there was a delay at Benjamin Moore! Money well spent.

Andrea called me back on the same day I left her a message. She gave me an appointment to come evaluate my town home for a paint consultation within 2 days. The day of the appointment, she was punctual, professional and well prepared. She listened to my ideas and then put together a great set of colors for every room. We received the color square samples from Benjamin Moore within a week and with her report went to buy the paint which was really easy. Today, the paint job is completed and we just love it! It's elegant and cozy but neutral and fun to combine with furniture and accents. I'm really glad that I found Andrea Jacoby Interiors and would definitely recommend this business and use it again in the future.

I am so glad I found her on the net. She was very patient with all our questions . I wanted to get an input on interior paint along with advise on what would work in our new town home. She suggested excellent paint pallette after meeting us and understanding our preferences . I would definitely recommend her for any interior designing job.

I used Andrea for a paint color consultation for my home. She listened to my ideas and design preferences and spent more than two hours selecting the perfect paint colors while also getting my input on likes and dislikes. At the end of the consultation Andrea created a paint color chart for my painter detailing paint style (matte, glossy, etc.) and paint color saturation levels, any mixing of colors, and what color goes where in each room including ceiling and trim. Even my very experienced painter was impressed with the thoroughness of Andrea's instructions. The end result: the colors Andrea selected enhanced my home and the existing interiors so that my home looks like I did a complete interior design redo.

Andrea exceeded all of my expectations. She listened to my ideas, understood my style and came up with paint colors for each room that completely transformed our home into one that we love. She also offered solutions regarding furniture, lamps, rugs and drapes. She is a perfectionist but easy to work with and considerate of budget restrictions. Her design and color sense are impeccable ... both sophisticated, updated, yet cozy and reflective of our taste. We are thrilled with the result and plan to have her back for other projects.

Andrea created a shimmering jewel of a bedroom for my little girl. She has an excellent eye for color, and is meticulous with details. She won't stand for a single blemish in the finishing touches.

Andrea is the consummate professional designer. From cradle to grave she had complete control over our entire Kitchen renovation. Andrea was able to take our words, Function, Beauty & Center of Our Home and develop, design and implement a finished Kitchen. Her taste level, expertise on every facet and ability to work with our contractor and his subs made the experience a delight. Last but not least our Kitchen was brought in on budget, all because of Andrea.

Andrea is a consumate pofessional. She provided a color consultation for us and we couldn't have been more pleased with her choices. Andrea spends time getting to know her client and the space. She helped us revamp the color scheme in our dining room, living room, great room, four bedrooms, the kitchen, three bathrooms and the entry way. She has a "sixth sense" as to what is necessary to really make your home reflect your personality so that you can be comfortable and at ease in your own home. Once the project was finished, we felt like we were in a new house. Andrea is a joy!
