As the owner of Angela Morris Design, I want my clients to enjoy their project and I can promise we are going to have a good time working on it together! I will help you collectively work on your space to create the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love. I have been designing for over 30 years. My design background goes back to childhood; I am a product of artists, painters, sculptures and constructors. I spent half of my life in Europe, Vienna, Austria, where it is hard not to take in and love the architecture. My background includes being certified by UC Riverside as a designer, where I have also had the absolute pleasure of teaching at the University. I will be teaching the Introduction to Interior Design course, a certification program, at UCR's Palm Desert campus in Fall 2019. With so many years in industry and experience working for various firms, I am a wealth of information and will always design for you as an individual. Design is a process we must do together. A famous designer taught me that there are three very important fundamentals that I have incorporated into my own design firm: 1. Never forget whose home it is. 2. Never forget whose money is being spent. 3. Never forget who will be using the space after I am long gone. I am a designer that is also very active in my community. I am a chairperson for the Alzheimer Organization and I am a very proud supporter of our military. I give discounts to military, educators, police and firefighters; thank you for your sacrifices and service! I pride myself on fair pricing each job, whether I work hourly or on the project from concept to completion. From start to finish, she was there to advise us on contractor selection, budget, materials and furnishings. She is detail-oriented yet always keeps the big picture in mind of how it’s all going to pull together at the end. She guides decisions without pushing her own choices. am and I live most of the year up in the Seattle area. Last year we bought a condo in Bermuda Dunes and immediately recognized that some significant changes had to be made in the kitchen. A friend recommended that we talk to Angela Morris about the design. We did, and soon decided about the general direction the project should take. Angela has a great list of subs that came over to look at the home and we very shortly after that we had a plan. Angela has a great eye and came up with a design that we loved right away. But she was also more than willing to hear our ideas and concerns. The project came out better than we really expected and within our budget. We are very pleased with the renovation that was done and we're quite certain we could never have done it without her help, guidance and dedication. We know the success of a project like this depends heavily on the talent and dedication of the subs involved and Angela has a great team that she works with and , together, they all delivered on our project. Angela has been the most competent, energetic, on top of it designer/project manager I have ever seen. She completely understands construction, and has been so responsive and available to make sure the jobs get done on time. I was fortunate to find Angela available for our short term renovation project mid summer in Palm Desert. She responded immediately and we set to work to refurnished and update our standard 3/2 condo. We're new to living full time in the Desert so I didn't know where to begin. She really helped me focus by giving me her overall plan for our place. From that, my husband and I could choose what was most important to complete now for budget reasons...and what could wait til later. She has the best stable of craftsmen: painter, carpenter, picture hanger. Everything they did for us was of the highest quality. Angela really helped me focus on what was most important to us and that is comfort over style. With her, we got both! Since I wanted a lot of color she suggested we paint one wall a dramatic blue. The most inspired thing she did was create our wall of "travel art" in the living room. It's the centerpiece and conversation starter for our entire space. We are thrilled with the work Angela did for us and would recommend her highly.

Angela was a pleasure to work with, when my husband and I purchased our home in Temecula we needed help. Being new to Temecula, I asked our Realtor if he knew any good interior designers in the area, he checked with his network partners and they recommended Angela. The home was dated and had a very sterile feel to it, we wanted to warm it up and give it an updated design. Angela worked with us to select the flooring, window coverings, furniture, counter tops and paint. She is knowledgeable and listened to what we liked so she could design a home that reflected us. I didn't see a wand, but Angela definitely did some magic. My leisurely timeframe vanished when suddenly I had to have my home staged + ready for photos in less than 2 days. BOOM! We hired Angela to help us furniture an entire 3 bedroom, with a large great room 2900 sq foot home in Palm Desert. She is very knowledgeable about all the different styles of decorating and how to coordinate layout and color schemes. She helped us make decisions on what we should do. She is very easy to work with and has a fun personality. Almost like family. She has contacts with all the local furniture stores and got us discounts. Angela listens and observes. She helped me prepare an 1890 Victorian home of 20 years to sell. It sold in a day. My home presented itself well in light of my heavy colors and period furniture. A young couple walked in and felt the stability of my contribution to the character of the home PLUS they saw the potential in making it their own. Angela gets full credit for the latter. By the way, this was all done by Skype!!!!
