Anna is a superb talent and we were thrilled she chose to collaborate with our team at Dragons of Walton Street. It was Anna who brought this beautiful artwork concept to us and who selected our Regency Cotbed to be the focal point of the nursery. She has a vivid imagination, a warm and encouraging manner, and is exacting in her eye and concern for detail, which is a wonderful combination in the world of children's rooms, getting the best out of us, our artist and the sweetness and lightness of touch in the artwork itself. We would love to collaborate more with her and Raif, who we would say are right up there at the top of their profession!

Ralf and Anna helped my wife and I design and complete the refurbishment of our first home together, which has 2 bedrooms, a living room / kitchen and an entrance hallway split over 3 floors. The task was not straight-forward, as we had just 5 months to complete the plans & designs, and complete all of the works as well. They coordinated the entire process, and lead on the design front as well. Ralf and Anna were particularly helpful in: - Helping us understand what kind of concept both of us would like, especially since we have quite different tastes - Selecting all elements of design and decoration, and visualizing the design concept for the flat as a whole - Keeping us within the necessary budget, and assisted us in optimizing the spending for where it was most needed - Coming up with innovative and efficient designs to maximize the space of the flat, helping us increase the total floor area of the flat by more than 5sqm! - Managing the entire building works, including selection of contractors, monitoring of costs, minimization of costs and reporting on an ad hoc basis - Extremely helpful in their assistance post-delivery with snagging issues, as well as ad hoc problems that inevitably come up in a new home Generally, Ralf and Anna run a very professional and efficient company, and are very friendly as well. They helped make the entire process much less stressful (and much more enjoyable) than it could have been. We are already recommending them to our friends and family, and intend on working with them again if (when) we decide to move.

Anna was working on a large scale multimillion construction/ refurbishment project in North London which was one of the properties I was looking after on behalf of the owner. The Grade II listed property was in a dilapidated state and it required a complete refurbishment. In addition to this, the property required complex structural work because a basement was added which enlarged the house to over 5,000 SqFt. Anna was overseeing the whole project from start to finish which took over three years to complete. During the time I found her an extremely professional architecture and interior designer who ensured that there was a minimal delay on the project and that all completion deadline were met by the sub-contractors. She made regular site visits to ensure the quality of the work was of highest quality and there was continued flow of progress reports with photos of the project which was sent by email to me. It was very easy to communicate with her and she was always on hand to answer any questions. I also found Anna was very solution driven to include specific requests from the council because a listed building was altered within a Conversation Area and the house had to be faithfully restored to it is original state. She would also come up with innovative ideas to maximise space and enhance original features. Above all, I was very impressed her eye for details and her depth of knowledge with sourcing the material for the interior. Although I have only worked with Anna, Anna and Ralf have together an extremely wide range of project knowledge covering many different aspects and specialism. They are both gifted at combining architectural and interior design elements together in a way that I believe will enhance any small or big home. I would highly recommend Heckman Design and it would be a real pleasure to work with both of them in the future.
