Anoushka was amazing through the process of our renovation, which faced a number of challenges including COVID impacts and a multitude of issues with the builder. The time and attention she spent on all the specifications was invaluable when the time came to lock in details with the builder and this took away an enormous amount of stress. Plus, Anoushka took the time to understand our needs, what we liked and was always happy to help us with decisions. She was very open and clever to incorporate a few key existing pieces into the new designs. We worked with Anoushka Allum Design this year on the design for our new kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. From the very start, I was impressed with Anoushka's comprehensive and structured approach. She was great in helping us to understand our style and preferences and how to articulate what we wanted our home to look and feel like. As busy professionals, we really valued Anoushka's organisation and efficiency, and the time savings we achieved with her shortlisting materials and design ideas for us to make the final decisions on. Anoushka was conscious of our budget and helped us understand where we could save and where it was worth investing a little extra. After the designs were completed, we engaged Anoushka to project manage the build and again her expertise was invaluable. She saved us a lot of time managing the back and forth with our builder, site meetings and progress checks. She kept us in the loop with important updates and decisions, while managing the day to day on our behalf. We are thrilled with the result and are loving living in our new spaces. We look forward to working with Anoushka again down the track when we are ready to update the exterior of our house.

Anoushka ran the process in a methodical and thoughtful way. She was very organised, utilising various apps to coordinate the design decisions with the architect, builder and ourselves. She also managed to meld my wife's and my tastes on the renovation - no easy task. Most of the design work was managed remotely, while we lived overseas, making colour and material choices more difficult, but this was overcome to the extent possible. Overall, we are very happy with the result, in spite of delays and the usual building / weather hiccups along the way.

We found Anoushka through Houzz and her involvement in our project meant that it was extremely painless... we bough AND renovated through the peak of Covid and both lockdowns and could not have achieved this result without her!!!!!!! She has exquisite taste in fabric, furnishings and materials and a real eye for detail. We loved that she was able to take my ideas and my husband's and the kids' and combine all our wants and needs in to a home we will live in and love for many many years to come. Now that the design and reno phase is over, we continue to use Anoushka Allum Design to help with our interior spaces as well. Anoushka assisted us with the interior decorating of our new build in 2021-2022. We certainly struck gold when we found Anoushka. She is warm and friendly, highly organised and efficient and responds quickly to any questions. Anoushka was well prepared for our meetings coming with ideas and samples which were packaged together room by room including a mood board and images to help convey her thoughts. She has many contacts throughout the furnishing and decorating industry which enabled her to source quality products at a trade price. Furthermore, her consulting fees are affordable and were offset by the amount we saved in purchasing products at trade price so we actually saved money overall. I engaged Anoushka to support me with interior design advice for my large renovation (ground floor renovation + second storey addition). I had a strong idea about what I wanted, but I needed help making the big decisions - layout, flooring, interior and exterior paint colours, kitchen joinery, bathroom tiles etc. With some previous experience with home design, I was keen to find someone who could support me in bringing my vision to life, help confirm some of the thinking I had already put into our home design, and point me in a new direction when my ideas were flawed. I needed a voice of reason and reassurance! Anoushka brought a really lovely, calm, practical approach to my project.
