We're so pleased we appointed Carl, we have ended up with exactly the home we wanted. Professional, approachable and unflappable, Carl was organised and helped us at every stage and built a good relationship with our builder.

Carl provided architectural and project management services for a large project converting a small three bedroom rundown house into a five bedroom family home. There were many challenging aspects to this project with the planning process being particularly difficult, Carl’s professionalism and expertise guided us through a very stressful time. We’ve really enjoyed working with Carl at Architecture and More. Carl helped us to turn some initial drawings into a workable scheme that has exceeded our expectations. The project comprised of a single storey extension to the rear of our house, removal of internal walls downstairs, and a double storey extension to the side. Carl was fundamental in helping us explore building design ideas, and kept us honest around our expectations throughout the build. A true independent voice in what was a large, and sometimes emotive project. I would highly recommend Carl as both Architect and Project Manager.

Carl created the drawings for our extension and renovation work and fully project managed the work from start to finish. I found Carl to be extremely helpful and he understood the complexity of elements of the job. He liased with the construction company ensuring that the work was carried as to the specification he had prescribed and followed up swiftly any queries I had. We had previously tried (unsuccessfully) to sell our house to gain a 5th bedroom and more downstairs space for a growing family. Carl came on board and offered us various solutions at the drawing stage. We ended up extending our house in all directions!! We went above our single storey double garage to create a 5th bedroom, above our single storey lounge to create a master suite, a full extensions across the back of the house to create a kitchen with dining and snug area with log burner and a separate snug for our girls. Plus our lounge doubled in size. It was very chaotic but that's what you expect when you renovate. Carl's drawings were spot on as was his attention to detail and the planning process went very smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. I was on site everyday managing the build with our builder but Carl was always available for consultation at anytime if he was needed. Our builder dealt directly with us on budgets and deadlines (as our family business is in the building trade) but we were very happy with the service Carl offered and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I engaged Carl Turner as my Architect/Project Manager for the conversion of the redundant Ulrome Chapel into a four bedroom home for myself. This involved design,obtaining the necessary planning permission,tendering for the build and fully managing the project including satisfying the Building Inspectorate Carl had the vision,in consultation with me for my requirements to produce a stunning design. He steered us through the planning process and the tendering process delivered an award winning local builder at a competitive cost My new home has attracted numerous compliments and will be put forward for the appropriate awards.This is due to my good fortune in having had a top class Architect and Builder I would unreservedly recommend Carl who as well as being very talented and professional is a thoroughly nice guy and a joy to work with
