About Us

arQitecture is an award-winning architecture and interiors firm committed to delivering high-level design tailored to each client’s goals and budgets. We take a very personal approach to our work, and strive towards bringing innovation and style to clients throughout the Delaware Valley. Our comprehensive services include: conceptual planning and design; architectural and interior design services; construction administration; image design and even interior decorating to truly complete the identity of a new space. arQitecture has grown in experience and capability and can accommodate commissions ranging from residential renovations to large-scale commercial complexes. Several recent projects of note include a new Private Residence in Hockessin Delaware which was awarded the 2012 Delaware AIA Honor Award and a special recognition for Sustainable Building Design and the new location of Pizza By Elizabeths in Greenville was awarded a 2010 Delaware AIA Citation Award. arQitecture was also awarded the 2007 Delaware AIA Honor Award and 2009 IIDA PA/DE/NJ Judge’s Choice Award for Rainbow Cleaners, a dry cleaners in Wilmington’s Riverfront Towers, and published in the international design publication Metropolis Magazine. arQitecture was also honored by IIDA PA/DE/NJ as 2009’s “Up and Coming Firm to Watch”, the first design firm to ever receive this recognition. The principal of arQitecture, Todd Tully Danner, AIA, IIDA, was listed as one of Delaware Today’s 2008 People to Watch: 40 Under 40 and was recently one of ten people on the Global Color Research’s panel for the color forecast of the US Autumn Winter 2012/13 in NYC. We are confident in our approach to design excellence and recognize the client relationship as an invaluable opportunity. arQitecture’s future is bright as we realize our stated goals and continue to bring change to the marketplace.

I found Todd Tully on houzz after discovering that he designed the beautiful restaurant in DE called "Pizza by Elizabeth". A look at his website shows his artistry and versatility. He was able to switch gears once again to help my with our beach home design in south Jersey. Because Todd is also an architect he was able to fix flaws in our drawings while expanding the design to his interior vision. It is unusual to find an interior designer who is also an architect and I wish I could have started the project earlier with him to experience his full potential. An added perk is that Todd is a delight to work with, friendly, down to earth and with the right mix of professionalism. He is budget conscious and wants you to get the most impact for the best price. He will listen to you while gently guiding you to see his perspective. He can sketch ideas faster than I can think! Our house is midway through the project, and so far all is going well but I have complete confidence that with Todd's help it will finish to be brilliant!!!!

I work with creative professionals for a living but never have I encountered someone with the level of creative vision as Todd Danner. Todd has the unique ability to blend style and function into his designs and he has a perspective that is fresh yet classic. I love the enthusiasm that Todd brings to his work- his relentless pursuit of perfection leaves no detail behind and his projects are admired and appreciated by all who encounter them. Todd has helped transform our early 1900s house into a home fit for a family of today while retaining the integrity of the craftsmanship originally used in the home. He has designed our kitchen which included major structural changes as well as our master suite including a master bathroom. Without reservation, I recommend Todd and arQitecture!

Our project involved changing our unfinished attic into usable space. Todd designed a number of different scenarios and helped us decide on the proper one for us. He had a lot of great ideas and the designs were very well done. He secured multiple bids and we ended up with a contractor that we were very happy with. He was very helpful during the construction process. We were very happy with our final results and would highly recommend Todd for any project.

I purchased a 58 year old home that needed updating and additional living space. I hired Todd Danner of arQitecture to do the job. Todd stayed true to the integrity of the cape cod style of the house and the time period it was built. He spent a lot of time talking to me about how I used different spaces, entertained, etc. to give me a plan that worked for my lifestyle. He was also very good keeping within my budget and helping me decide what areas were most important to get the most bang for the buck. Todd's expertise in interior design along with architecture gave him a unique ability to visualize the living space and come up with unique ideas that I never would have dreamed of. I am thrilled with the end result and would highly recommend arQitecure.

We built a new construction single family home in 2011 with Todd Danner as our architect and interior designer. I have two words...blown away! He not only created three different designs for us to choose from he then sat with us making sure every one of our new home wishes came true. He is such a creative and talented person. Details are his thing! We knew we wanted a cottage with a rustic/modern interior but had no idea what that should really look like. Todd went way beyond our expectations! We couldn't have dreamed up the gem of a house he designed for us. There has not been one visitor that has entered our home with out commenting on how unique and beautiful it is. We loved woking with him and wouldn't think of ever using another architect or designer for any future projects. It was a great experience mainly because we were in the hands of a pro.

Todd Danner of arQitecture transformed our 1970's ranch into at two story modern but rustic family home. We worked together and discussed the needs of our family and with that in mind, he designed and helped execute a fantastic home. The foundation stayed the same while he completely reconfigured the first floor plan to be an open flow with functional rooms. He designed a new second floor and with high ceilings and great open space. He helped us do much more then we thought we would have been able to do on our budget. He worked extremely well with our contractor and presented the contractor with more progressive ways of doing things and various new ideas. We love our new home!

Todd is a professional in every sense of the word! His creativity helped us see our home in a whole new way. He is thoughtful and in tune with our family needs and challenges, yet keeps the standard high in terms of the final picture. His vision combines the needs of a modern day family with our classic and traditional colonial style home. Todd is/was punctual with his sketches, ideas, and meetings. We highly recommend arQitecture!

You name it and Todd probably helped us when we were doing major construction and redesigning of our new home. We bought a 50 year old home that had great "bones" but was in desperate need of some TLC and then some. Todd was the first person we called after we walked thru the first time with our realtor. He was the first person we called after we talked to our contractor. He was the first person we called when all the work was done and it was time to pick colors, cabinets and furniture. He was part of every decision we made and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Nine times out of ten when someone compliments something in our home - it is something that Todd contributed!!! He made our new house a home and he was worth every penny.
