About Us

Since 1973, The Purvis Gallery of Design has provided convenient, elegant solutions for all of your framing needs at surprisingly affordable prices. Our staff has over 50 years of combined experience in creating frame designs that are unique and capture the essence of the art and its environment. Whether you have one picture or one hundred, The Purvis Gallery of Design will provide you with excellent service and selection. Custom framing knows few boundaries. We have framed originals, prints, posters, photographs, sports jerseys, decorative tiles, Mardi Gras beads, kimonos, rugs, breaking ground shovels and many other unique and interesting items. In addition to custom framing we also transfer print to canvas, print to glass, as well as photo restoration and reproduction. In recent years we have evolved to included interior design services, offering custom wall coverings, custom furniture, lighting and home accessories. Amazing!! We met them as we were just beginning a HUGE remodel of our home. They started with a bed and completely outfitted our home all the way to hooks on the wall!! We had been making so many decisions from tile to grout to pulls on the cabinets that we were so overwhelmed. It all started with a bed and from there Art, Jack and Wendy took our vision to reality. They found furnishings for us of exceptional quality, a bit out of the box; but totally worked (and we loved) and kept it all under budget!! I would recommend them hands down!! Can not wait for them to install all of it next week!!

Purvis Gallery always has a number of cool and uncommon items on the floor and a vast catalogue of items that may be ordered directly from their suppliers. I found Art's knowledge and experience in design, very helpful in making the final touches, the just 'right' final touches.

We bought beds, lamps, tables, chairs and artwork from Purvis Gallery in Rancho Mirage. We also had custom framing done on 6 pieces. Working with Art and his team has been great and everything looks wonderful in our new house. The prices are very reasonable as well.

We hired Purvis to redecorate our bedroom. We left the artistic details to them including bedding, wallpaper, paint, decor and new bedroom furniture. We wanted to have a different perspective on the renovation. Each item that they selected was always shown to us for approval, and we were correct on leaving it to them to select everything. Our Bedroom looks like it was a spread in a magazine, absolutely no details were left out on our project. The work was done professionally and always on time. We are already talking about which room we would like them to do next.

Purvis Gallery has been who I go to for framing, furnishings, design help, and special gifts, for many years now. Everyone there is talented, helpful and very personable... I have referred many friends over the years, and all have come back with rave reviews and praise for this wonderful shop! I recommend Purvis Gallery to anyone who wants to add style and sophistication to their lives.

How do I count the ways that I love Purvis Gallery! I was hired to design the interiors of a 20,000 sq. ft. foster/adoption office space with a warm and welcoming feel; to be completed in 6 weeks! Purvis Gallery came alongside me and helped create the most incredible Mid-century/Dutch modern space. Being able to help design the artwork, ordering quality furniture with a short lead time, working with incredibly creative and professional people, and having the peace of mind that they always come through with what they promise are just a few of the reasons that I love Purvis Gallery. Designers are only as good as their resources, and Purvis Gallery is one of my favorites.

We have used Purvis Gallery for many projects at our house including framing, old photo restoration, bed room furniture, wine racks, artwork, etc! So when it came to decorate my new Upland office I did not hesitate to use them. They restored several old family photos and framed them, blew up on canvas and framed historical local photos, and framed a zoning map of the City of Upland. As always the workmanship was top notch and the pricing very reasonable; I strongly recommend Purvis Gallery!
