I have worked with Mike Baldwin and Baldwin Homes for over 20 years. We have collaborated on a number of beautiful waterfront homes. Mike and his team are considered one of the most knowledgeable green builders in Maryland winning numerous awards. We highly recommend Mike Baldwin and Baldwin Homes.

There are 6 homes in the Boyers Ridge community that has mold due to faulty workmanship. Majority of the homes are still under there 1year warranty. Some home's have only been there for as little as 5 months. Each home has had a licensed inspector to confirm the mold all in which is located in the same locations. The builders are fully aware of the situation however, they refuse to comply. Their model home located in Boyers Ridge community has been closed early on Sunday, March 31, 2109, due to protesting from multiple homeowners. These homeowners have months of documentation, images and so on to prove the matter at hand they just simply are concerned about there families health in there brand new home. There are children, pets and elderly in the community and many families health is at risk. They have removed all reviews from there FB and IG account from multiple clients that have reached out to inform others about the mold. And to be honest the homes are beautiful and the neighborhood is great but the builders do not care much about there clients the moment after your key is turned over. Please be aware!

I purchased a home a year ago. There was mold in the unfinished basement areas and the attic. Baldwin Homes was alerted before the 1 year warranty of the mold issue in my home. Baldwin Homes refuses to remedy the mold. Post Construction no one from the Baldwin Homes staff returns a phone call. I do not recommend purchasing a home from Baldwin Homes.

I hired Baldwin to completely rebuild my home that had been destroyed by fire. I had bids from 3 other reputable builders but I decided to go with Baldwin and I am glad that I did. There are thousands of different decision points when building a home. Working with the Baldwin team helped organize the decision process. Everything was transparent and when things did not go perfectly at points in the process, Baldwin responded quickly and addressed the issue. Things WILL happen when building a home but it is s critical to hire a builder who stands behind their work, listens to the customer and ensures an end product that meets client expectations.

As a first time home-builder there were so many decisions to make and it was great that Lisa Webb was there to walk us through the process. There were things that I wished were described better upfront/during the process such as decorative windows that look beautiful but don't open, lack of ceiling lights (unexpected $$), amount of space needed for equipment/utilities, small landscaping budget (so we have to go back to level the yard and put in grass vs. the weeds that resulted in the quick spray seed) but overall we are very happy with our end product. The floor plan fits our family to a tee! I would definitely recommend Lisa Webb and Baldwin Homes!

Our project consisted of tearing down an existing cottage and construction a new custom waterfront home. Baldwin met with us the day we settled on the property. The Pre Sales process was excellent. Mike and Lisa were very responsive and helpful. Once we had made a decision to go with Baldwin, and the design process commenced we felt we got everything we hoped for, helpful suggestions, attention to budget, and an easy accommodation for issues. The construction process went very well, moving along according to planned timeframes. Baldwin was very accommodating as we wanted to utilize some of our own sources for materials. Projects of this magnitude are very complex, requiring interaction of engineering, the construction company and county government. Our personal attention to detail was required throughout the project. The end product met and exceeded expectations. If we could rate 4.5 stars we would.

I had a home built by the Baldwin company. They are by far the best builder we have encountered in the past 30 years. They were extremely accommodating and supportive, beginning with the sales manager and ending with the President of the company. The turnaround time from start to finish met our expectations. They even worked during the winter months to insure completion as promised. Everyone in the organization was extremely knowledgeable, and presented information in an easy to understand format. They were willing to satisfy our every desire, including very small minor details, such as light switch dimmers, light fixtures, and custom vanities. Overall, I would say the Baldwin company exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend them to any potential buyer.

Three years ago, I was lucky to be selected by Baldwin Homes to design a guest bedroom and bathroom for the newly constructed Green Designer Show Home in Gambrills, Md. After the Show Home became a model and the majority of the designers pulled their furniture and accessories out of the house, I was hired by Baldwin to stage the house into a model. This included the Great Room, Breakfast Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Master Bedroom and Master Bathroom. Working for Baldwin Homes has been a pleasure and a privilege. They are an honest, fair and an excellent builder with high standards, and I have been honored to work for in the past three years. I would recommend them highly to anyone who may be considering a home built by Baldwin Homes.

Baldwin Homes built our new home in Linstead on the Severn. The original ideas, craftsmanship, timeliness, and availability to this day, sets Baldwin Homes above the rest. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Tia & John Carson
