About Us

We have over 22 year’s worth of experience custom building, extending and improving private residential properties across Scotland. We are an Edinburgh builder with a reputation built on trust, quality and attention to detail. That’s why all our work comes through recommendations. Founded in 1991 by Paul Brock, a master slater/roof-tiler, and now run in conjunction with his son Curtis, a master joiner/carpenter, Ballachulish Construction is named after the quarries where for centuries the best quality Scottish slate has been produced. Our approach Quality has always been our watchword. Every job we do, we deliver to the highest possible standard with the greatest care taken over every detail. And we take the same approach to every job, no matter how big or small. We work one project at a time, so you know you have our full attention until your job is completely finished. Paul Brock will be on site every single day, overseeing the work and to answer any questions you have. We’ve worked on over 80 contracts including bespoke new build homes and delivered countless extensions, renovation and home improvement projects. You won’t find an Edinburgh builder with more experience, knowledge, expertise and commitment. But don’t take our word for it. Our clients are happy to provide testimonials about the quality of our work.
