We were looking for a cover for the Fire Pit in my new BBQ Island. We found that He makes High Quality products at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Great, heavy duty product and just what I was looking for. Price was higher than some options but with the gauge of material used, powder coat finish and design I was very pleased. Didn't want something that wouldn't last or would rust and ruin my expensive pit. I might note to the seller to watch the packing and shipping. Handle was crushed but I was able to bend it back with no issues.

Product was perfect fit and did a great job keeping the snow out. However, edges and bolts rusted after first winter. Submitted request to company for advise with no response after 3+ weeks. Great idea poor quality poor service. I will repaint the cover and continue to use.

The pit topper fire pit cover Is a quality product. For the money, the value is better than all the alternatives I have found online. When you get into custom colors or unique dimesions that price becomes on par with the others, but you are getting exactly what you want. The end product is attractive, functional, and simple. The gauge (thickness) of steel is good. A little thicker would be better though. I ordered a custom paint color (metallic bronze). It was done perfectly. The lead time was reasonable. The packaging was excellent! There is room for improvement. I expected better handles. Something rounded for better grip. Since they are flat steel, they lay flush to same fire pit surface as the cover rests upon. This makes it hard to get your fingers under the handle. It also feels like a cheap afterthought design. The other gripe is that the corners are not welded. The metal is bent at a 90 to make the edge lip, that’s it. Welding would give this cover greater structural integrity. Because my cover is 40”x40” the steel sags slightly in the center. A thin layer of rain accumulates here. With the dark paint color it evaporates quickly though. I haven’t had enough experience with the cover to know how well it will hold up to repeated on/off use - whether it will warp if it falls over. Overall, if you go with the standard black color it is priced very economically and therefore you can’t be too picky. If you do anything custom (color, increase height), the price is much higher and should demand a better product. The again, you are at least able to get a custom product.

We bought a 40” diameter fire pit cover. PiTTopper’s design was far better than anything else we could find. We ordered the product online and it arrived when promised. The cover is heavy enough to keep the wind from moving it. The stone mason who build our fire pit was very impressed with the product. He plans to recommend it to other clients.

This was the perfect cover to our gas firepit. I researched a lot of different options and I felt this was the best option and was fairly priced.

Purchased cover for outdoor gas fire pit. Has been outside for a year including hard winter snow. It is in the same condition as new. Keeps rain and snow out and is light weight so easy to lift. Highly recommend this company and their product.
