About Us

In 1972, the Berkshire Lighting Gallery came to life in Danbury, a store name appropriately associated with this small town located in the rolling green hills of the Berkshire Mountains in Connecticut. Originally known throughout the area as Berkshire Gift and Lamp, having built a reputation for service and appreciation for the local community providing giftware, tableware, and a wide variety of lamps. Almost 2 decades later, after an extensive showroom remodeling, the Berkshire Lighting Gallery was reborn with a new look and an expansive and impressive new line of products. Offering brilliant chandeliers, an array of mirrors, decorative accessories, lamps, and an assortment of ceiling fans, the family owned and operated establishment offers something for everyone's lighting needs. As word spread of their professional, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, Berkshire Lighting Gallery found it necessary to expand to a larger 3,000 square showroom in New Milford, Connecticut. Now with room to grow, Berkshire Lighting Gallery can accommodate an ever-expanding inventory selection and stay in line with popular trends in residential and commercial lighting design needs. Whether it's just a light bulb or a complex remodeling project, commercial or residential, you will always experience the local friendly service and professional knowledge associated with the thirty four years, and growing, of the Berkshire Lighting Gallery.
