My wife and I hired Aaron for the second time for a new construction project. As the first time he proved to be professional, dependable, and honest. He built our finished garage, on time, as promised. So we decided to hire him to build our main house. Its tough to put into words how the entire experience was with Big Twig. But in a word, it was: Simple. Aaron and his crew were very dependable, easy to work with, maintained a clean job site, and were completely approachable when there was last minute changes/problems/ or decisions that needed to be made. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a builder.

Our project was the construction of a log home - our "dream retirement" home. Big Twig served as the general contractor and did an excellent job in all aspects of the construction. The project, from lot clearing to occupancy, took just 8 months, which was more than 30 days ahead of the estimated schedule. The selection of subcontractors was excellent in that they kept to the schedule and kept to a high standard of excellence. Warranty issues have been few, minor and remedied quickly. Big Twig management was easy to work with and always responded to our needs and our desired changes and managed the budget to our satisfaction. My wife and I strongly recommend this company.

Aaron Dunn and Big Twig Homes LLC constructed my Katahdin log home in 2007/2008, and performed some remodeling along the way. I have built several homes, and by far Aaron has been the BEST contractor I have ever worked with. #1 - Trustworthiness. #2 - Reliability. #3 - Honesty. #4 - Highest Quality. I could go on and on. Getting the job done right, on time, on budget. No surprises. Aaron and his team get my highest recommendation.

Linda and I were fortunate to have our vacation house built recently. We were fortunate to find Aaron Dunn (Big Twig Homes) as the primary contractor to coordinate the construction. Having actually built our own house in our home town of Hope Valley, RI we were quite aware of the detail required in the construction of a good home. Knowing it would be difficult to manage the construction from RI as well for the fact that the new construction would be a log home we would seek the help and knowledge of Aaron. This decision would become the backbone of the successful construction of our home. Not only was the construction timely but the contractors selected were of the highest quality. We could sight many examples one that stands out is the interior finishing work. All of the finish work performed by the carpenters in the interior of the house were nothing less than cabinet makers quality. All of the joints and fits on the interior walls with no exaggeration were precision fits showing the attention to detail and high standard that they invested into there entire project. All that we can say is well done.

My husband and I enjoyed working with Aaron and Meredith of Big Twig Homes LLC and highly recommend them to others in the area. Aaron was professional and most important, flexible to our needs in building new construction. He walked us through the complicated process of building and answered our questions/concerns in a timely manner. We plan on hiring in the future for other jobs.

I was introduced to Big Twig Homes by Katahdin Cedar Log Homes as my local representative. I have been working with Aaron to design and build the log home of my dreams. He has been most helpful in answering all my questions, giving me suggestions, and showing me the ins and outs of log homes. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the project and very easy to work with. I am looking forward to completing this project with Aaron as my contractor and adviser.

We had never built a house before so we did not know what to expect. Everything went as smooth as is possible. Aaron put a lot of attention to detail and we love absolutely everything about it. He was always easy to talk to and liked the fact that he made suggestions along the way that we had not thought about. Things were done on time and within budget. We are actually getting ready to move there when my husband retires and we sell the other house. We love seeing all the pictures of our home on this site. Hire Aaron Dunn - you will be as happy as we are!

As a subcontractor, working for Aaron was a pleasure! His attention to project schedule and clients needs were paramount. I would highly recommend Arron for any project. His knowledge of Leed certified building Is very vast, allowing him to build the best homes for the future.
