Naama designed a home for us on the hillside site of our St. John, US Virgin Islands home which was destroyed by hurricane Irma in September, 2017. The wonderful design took advantage of all of the assets remaining on the property including the incredible view of the Caribbean Sea, the wonderful trade winds, the surviving cistern and foundation. The three bedroom, three and a half bath modern home is on two levels with straight lines and is amply lit by view facing windows and doors. Naama’s decorating skills topped off the project with delightful color patterns, furnishings and accents. A wonderful job and pleasant to work with.

We recently underwent a major renovation in our house that touched literally every room in the house, and Naama provided all the architectural drawings and guidance for the whole project. The design was beautiful and functional, and she worked with us to make every single list detail perfect for our house and our family. She’s an amazing listener and makes impeccable choices for each project she’s handed. I have continued to suggest her to friends and family looking to re-work their space or create additional space. Naama’s warm and caring approach is truly outstanding.

We hired Binyan to do a total remodel of our home in Princeton, NJ. Naama, the architect, was easy to work with and walked us through the entire process since we were first time home renovators. We decided to move forward with Phase 1 of the renovation which focused on our first floor and master bedroom suite. The end result is a dream come true! We have a master bathroom that is so gorgeous and luxurious as well as his and her closets! My closet is STUNNING. It never would have been possible without the guidance of Binyan and Naama.

We needed a conversion of our garage to a family room and the addition of a carport. We were fortunate to engage this firm. After meeting to discuss our needs, we received viable suggestions in the form of alternative options. We selected one of these and worked closely with her to achieve an eminently successful design. The result has received glowing reviews from many passersby, and we are extremely satisfied with both the new interior room and the external carport !

My husband and I recently completed a renovation of our home, and we hired Naama Faucett of Bin-yan for all of the plans for our project. We knew from the moment we met Naama that she had an innate intuition for spaces, and we could tell she was envisioning what our space could be and how to keep the feel of the space we already have consistent with the changes we'd make. Our interaction with her was always lovely and professional, and she had excellent knowledge of all the steps we would need to take to make our project a reality. My partner and I worked with Naama on a residential rehab we did in Tinicum Pennsylvania. Naama helped advise us on cabinetry, surfaces, (tile / countertops), appliances, etc. throughout the house. (We also sought out her opinion on various aesthetic decisions.) We found Naama to be reliable, reasonably priced, good natured and resourceful. We’ve done a few renovation projects … none have been as successful as this one. Naama is also a pleasure to work with. Very responsive. And helped lead us by the hand a couple of times when it was particularly difficult to make a decision. We were doing this project remotely (we live in NYC) … and on a budget so it seemed like we were always solving some problem. The work she did was beautiful. Our cabinets in the living room and bathroom, in particular, continue to get praise. They are very beautifully thought out and perfect for the space. She steered us toward beautiful tiles. We are thrilled with the outcome. As for the kitchen, two years into using it perhaps the highest praise is that everything flows so beautifully. All the drawers and cabinets seem perfectly sized. The distribution and arrangement are like second nature. It is a pleasure to cook in.

Garage replacement project with second floor loft area added. $110,000 construction cost. 3 month project duration was estimated. Project started on time, June 2015.. Hoped to complete over the summer of 2015 but contractor gave priority to his other work extending this project to April 2016, a 5 month delay. Architect played no part in delay. Naama's work was professional, timely, and knowledgable. Assistance provided with zoning board variance. Timely and accurate drawings provided and application assistance provided. Good working relationship.

Binyan architecture studio, led by Naama Faucett, provided architectural design and planning and project execution oversight for a complete kitchen and master bath renovation. Naama was a delight to work with. She provided great insight on the design and how we would utilize the space. She was responsive to our requests and worked with the builder and his team to create workable solutions from both a build standpoint and our utilization. A few illustrations of this are around how she worked to accommodate some big, and not so big requests on the kitchen cabinetry. On the big side, while we were do a substantial redo, we liked our old cabinets, and they were in reasonably good shape and it felt like a waste to throw them out. She helped develop a plan where we were able to update and reuse some of what we had, while adding new contrasting cabinets and a large island. It was hard for me to visualize, but Naama could see how it would all come together and we love how it turned out. On the small stuff, we asked about a lower surface on the island to knead bread. She and the cabinet builder came up with a pull out bread board that fits great and is a very cool solution. Naama also helped us find and select the best materials that fit what we were trying to accomplish, such as doing the diligence in finding a great contractor to fabricate a concrete top for our kitchen island that adds a fabulous, unique look to the space. even for the smaller things like light fixtures and bath hardware, Naama had a keen eye and helped us select things that fit functionality and aesthetics. Naam was very engaged throughout the building process as well. she was in regular contract with the builder and his excellent team and great partners to ensure things went smoothly and any issues were dealt with and prevented changes and redo. Again with focus on big things like how the skylight in the kitchen would fit, to the details like how tile would line up with electrical outlets and cabinetry in the bath. We found the process of woking with Naama to be a great experience that provided an outcome to our home that we love, is beautiful and very usable space from which we have received many complements. We highly recommend Naama and her Binyan architecture studio.
