Brintnall Deck Works

We were in need of a covered porch 32 feet wide and wrapping around one side of our new house. Brintnall Deck Works came highly recommended and we could not be happier with the experience. Josh Brintnall took a "Hands-On" approach, meeting with us and going through all aspects of the project. He followed through by keeping us informed at each stage and did not miss a beat when we made a couple of changes. All in all we ended up with a porch that is the envy of the neighborhood, done for a very reasonable cost and done on time. Can't say enough about how well every stage of our project went and when we build our new deckl on the other side of our house, Brintnall will be our go-to craftsmen.

Britnall installed a deck with a screen room off the back of our house. They had excellent suggestions for size, layout, and materials. The crew was courteous and cleaned up the site each night. The Britnall brothers were professional and did not hesitate to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend working with them and will use them again for future projects!

These guys are the best. Rather than tear down a perfectly good deck structure, they were honest and recommended that I just replace the horizontal decking, rail caps and stairs with composite. Everything looks great and they were very efficient. Loved working with them.

After interviewing a half dozen contractors to have my deck converted from wood to composite my wife and I decided to go with Brintnall and we couldn’t have been happier with the entire process and end result. Our deck looks absolutely great. Ben and Josh did a skillful job of taking our old deck and expanding it and making it look fantastic. And what great guys. When you are doing a project like ours and spending a few dollars, the one thing you want is people you can trust – and these are the guys. Last summer, we had our 35 year old deck transformed by Brintnall Deck Works. We have not had any second thoughts about our choice of contractors. They took time planning as we made it an enclosed porch with an additional smaller deck on the side. Truly, the team knew what products to recommend and gave creative suggestions. Their estimate was accurate and reasonable. The subcontractors who worked with them (i.e., replaced our entire roof) were excellent and trustworthy as well. The finished product exceeded our expectations. We are hoping to have them return for additional home improvements again!

I bought my house back in 2012 in Baltimore City and was told by the home inspector that my deck design and support system (at the time) was "unorthodox but up to code." After noting the wear and tear on it as time went on and noticing that the support beams weren't looking too good, I started researching potential contractors/companies who specialized in decks. I heard about BDW from a friend and requested an estimate while we walked through what ideas we had for the deck and above enclosed sun room. We ended up deciding to turn the enclosed sun room into an outdoor second story deck while keeping the roof in place and redoing the entire base/support system. The project went smoothly despite some weather delays and we are extremely happy with the end-result and quality of the work that was done. While my old deck was on the verge of collapse, this deck will probably outlast me (I'm 30). I've recommended BDW to my friends and colleagues as an excellent company in terms of professionalism and 'bang for your buck.'

We first saw Brintnall's quality work on the tennis court decking at Hillendale Country Club and wanted the same for the back deck of our home. It was a pleasure to work with Josh and his crew on that project and the front deck that followed. We're now looking forward to our third project coming up. Detailed craftsmanship.
