As the previous review Mark and Dave showed promise, but would not enter into a written contract agreement as requested. Currently I am having to pay another Building Contractor to put right there incompetent as Builders. There was No Guarantee or Customer Satisfaction as promised on their Websites, just aggressive emails demanding a final payment for defective Workmanship.

Mark and Dave initially showed promise but increased prices substantially immediately on starting the job. They struggled to supply a range of trades including brickies, sparkies and plumbers. A straightforward extension took far too long, problems in their construction are now being put right at additional cost. Don’t bother.

We were looking to extend our home and invited numerous builders around to quote for the work, one of which was Mark from BS Knapp. Mark came prepared with our drawings to the meeting and was very friendly. Mark later provided us with a quote for the work. Of all the builders who provided us with quotes BS Knapp provided us with the most detailed eight page quote which detailed exactly what was included within the quote. Their payment terms were fantastic too. We have a young family, all the workers and sub contractors were a pleasure to be around whilst working at our home. We even enjoyed listening to Dave singing his heart out to smooth radio whilst he was working. Our two year old daughter absolutely loved Dave too who was incredibly friendly around our daughter. BS Knapp’s communication throughout the project was fantastic and we were regularly updated on the project. We can’t thank Mark, Dave, Jack, Mike, Rick and Nathan etc. for the transforming our house into our dream home which our children will enjoying growing into adults in. We can’t recommend BS Knapp highly enough!! Thank you BS Knapp!!!

I can not thank Paul and his team enough for the advice and time they have given for an extensive refurbishment to my flat, it is now a completely different place. Never easy having to work around someone living there whilst such a lot of work is required but it was never too much trouble for them to ensure that basics were always put back on at night and things left in an orderly manner. Would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the company.

We are delighted with the double story side extension that B S Knapp built for us. Many thanks to Paul and his team for bringing our dream to life. Their interpretation of our plans was accurate and their understanding of building regs kept the project moving along, and us reassured. They kept us informed of next steps and included us in any decision-making, including guidance to showrooms where we might see examples of our ideas. They were always willing to overcome unexpected problems – our existing drains were all over the place! The workmanship was excellent with attention to detail at every level and high-quality materials used. We were especially pleased with the manner in which the work was conducted. The team was very mindful that we were living in the property while they were working and we are grateful for them keeping us warm and secure whilst old walls were demolished. In the working day, they arrived on time and left on time, respecting our privacy. The whole team was cheerful and got on well with each other, contributing to a happy atmosphere around our home. Paul and his team extensively renovated and remodeled our Victorian terrace in Bristol. The quality and pace of their work was consistently high, and Paul was always quick to answer the phone or reply to messages. When working on older properties you have to expect some unforeseen costs from issues that reveal themselves as walls or ceilings come down. We inevitably had a few such issues, but Paul was excellent at communicating exactly what they had found and providing very transparent (and fair) costing for any required additional works. Six months on the house is proving a great success and we will certainly look to work with BS Knapp on future projects. Highly professional and strongly recommended.

Paul and his team did an excellent job of converting our garage. They kept us informed all the way through and answered all our questions. The workmanship and the materials used were of very good quality, as a result we now have a lovely new space. Paul’s team also interacted directly with the building control representative and ensured everything is done as per the standards. The project is now approved and I’m awaiting the completing certificate from the council. Thanks to Paul and his great team.

The project to demolish the existing extension to our house and build a completely new one took four months, allowing for a short break over Christmas. This included provision of a new kitchen area, pantry and downstairs cloakroom, together with the fitting of new rear doors. Throughout that time, we’ve been greatly impressed by the consistently high standard of the work; and all those connected with the project—builders, electricians, plumbers and plasterers—have been unfailingly helpful and obliging, showing a marked ability to solve problems and envisage the next stage of the project, as well as keeping us completely up to date with the progress of the work. We would recommend them without reservation.

We can’t recommend BS Knapp enough. We were kept informed all the way through the build and any questions were answered clearly. Paul’s knowledge and experience showed in all aspects. The budget was clear and as with all building work, adjustments had to be made but we knew where we were with the costings at all times. The site was always kept as tidy as possible. When we couldn’t get a kitchen fitter, Paul and his team stepped in and did a really good job. The finished garage/dining room conversion really works well and we are so glad we did it. Thank you!

We used BS Knapp for the renovation of our home in Redland. The work included: a bathroom, a shower room, and very large re-roofing project. They provided and excellent service from the tender/quote stage right through to completion. The work was started on the date agreed and completed on time. The standard of work and finishing was some of the best we've ever experienced and BS Knapp staff were considerate and courteous throughout, always respecting the fact that we were in residence during some quite major renovations. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We instructed BS Knapp when our house got flooded and the whole up-stairs and down-stairs needed re-building. Mr Knapp project managed the whole project and we could just sit back and relax. They not only re-built our home, they suggested ideas and carried out the work to improve our home in a way we never would have thought off.
