About Us

At C60 Architects and Town Planners we will work in partnership with you to bring your ideas into reality and build your dream home. Whether you require a small extension or are starting with an empty site, we aim to create a delightful, functional and energy-efficient home specific to your needs. As it is your home, it is important for you to clearly understand our ideas and options as early as possible in the design process. We therefore use a range of visual techniques to help with this, including 3D models, artist impressions and video. Our latest method for you to be able to experience your home during the design process is virtual reality. With the help of VR goggles we are now able to put you inside your home while still on the drawing board. As certified Passive House designers, we specialise in energy-efficient homes. Building a low energy home is probably the single biggest contribution that you can do today to help the environment. It will also save you money by slashing your energy bills.

We have employed C60 as architects on 2 recent projects; 1 Residential and 1 Retail. They have a highly skilled design team based here in Belfast. With a thorough knowledge of the design process from initial brief through to completion and all the while very patient and efficient when discussing design options and possible changes. C60 have a solid skill set available required when dealing with the various statutory bodies and Utility providers including the Planning Service, NIEA, Transport NI, Building Control, NIW, etc Fast turnaround service received as well as very quick to communicate/respond to queries as and when required. We would recommend C60 Design wholeheartedly and will engage them again when the opportunity arises.

C60 designed a kitchen/living extension for us, on the back of an awkwardly shaped chalet bungalow. Roger immediately understood our requirements and the aesthetic we were aiming for - he solved a number of tricky design issues for us. Even when he had completed the work for us, he provided some good advice on the finishings needed to make the job even better. We would certainly recommend C60 for this type of work.

From the first call with C60 I knew that I had found the right practice to help us with 2 projects. Roger and the team at C60 have successfully steered us through planning and building control approval for both, with first class submissions and engagement with the planners and conservation officials. One project is nearly complete, and the second is just going out to tender now. In their design work C60 have managed to effectively balance style with the practical utility of the space, and have known instinctively when to lead and when to listen. They turned some of our original ideas on their head, and the projects are significantly better off because of them. They have been fantastically responsive to calls and emails, and have been very accommodating in working around the schedule of 2 busy professionals + toddler for clients. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roger and the team at C60 to anyone for architectural and planning services.
