Carina helped us to completely redesign our exterior space - this involved completely redoing the front yard/stairway/driveway, the side yard, and converting the backyard from hardscape to softscape (to make it family-friendly). She came to us with great ideas that fit our lifestyle (at this stage of our lives, we need low-maintenance landscaping), including some really surprising ideas (such as a new-construction outdoor dining space, which we're thrilled to have). At every step of the way, she was mindful of our needs and our personal tastes, and ultimately produced a final plan that works for us in every way - aesthetically, practically, and in keeping with our budget (on that note, she was also provided good insight into what we should budget for the items on our wish list). Importantly, she also connected us with a landscaping contractor that performed top-notch work, which enabled us to bring her design to life.

Carina created a design that transformed my backyard from a boring lawn with old deck to an enticing, beautiful, attractive space that I want to spend as much time as possible in—and enjoy with friends and family. Carina considered my needs, wants and constraints and was always a pleasure to work with.

Carina helped us design and install front and back yard lanscaping. She basically helped us turn a disaster in an amazing oasis, and a front yard that was a pleasure to come home to. This was quite an extensive project in North Toronto, in the 250K price range, but her costs were very low for a huge amount of value she provided She showed a genuine interest in our project, and was a welcome relief from many other designers. She was accessible when we needed her and always had good counsel. She would even call us if she saw something in a stort we would like even if we were not expecting her to look for somethin - amazing! Finally, her network of professionals is top notch - from contracting to irrigation and landscape management. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any project.

Honestly not sure what happened here but seemed friendly at first. She completed a garden design for me - not taking into account a few things we spoke about, and when I asked for a couple plants to be changed out, she had no time to deal with me and told me “there are no changes to the garden plan” So basically wasted money on a plan that I have to completely RE-do because she couldn’t listen to my requests.

We had the pleasure of working with Carina to design our backyard. We had been looking at the space for 20 years and wondering how to make best use of the space. Carina came-up with the most wonderful design and wonderful use of the space we have. Carina was so lovely to work with. She immediately understood what we liked and came up with a design which was just perfect! We were able to enjoy our new backyard a little this Fall and we can't wait for the Spring. Even though we can't sit out there right now, we enjoy looking at it from the house. It feels like we have added a new room to the house, which is such a treat! Thank you Carina!

I worked with Carina over the course of two summers to transform the front and back of my home in the Beach neighbourhood of Toronto including structural elements (gazebo, fencing, porch, patio) and landscaping (lawn, gardens, planters). We hired Carina to tackle our front and backyard landscaping after we completed a full renovation of our home. We had some initial thoughts of our own and Carina expertly took those and elevated them to a level only capable of a true professional. She brought us ideas on amazing garden sheds, designed a great cubby to hide those ugly garbage and recycling bins, and finessed a landscaping design to highlight our new home. She not only brought great plant ideas and garden designs but unique ideas for irrigation, lighting and our driveway that we never would have considered. Carina had some rally innovative and classy features incorporated into our design. Our backyard is very shaded and had very poor drainage with a view of a neighbours garage roof. She addressed the drainage issue very creatively and planted small trees to hide the garage roof. She delivered design on time. She was easy to work with and oversaw implementation professionally. I was very impressed with her knowledge of plants and appropriate ones for our project.
