I had a terrible experience dealing with Carrara Marble, this company and they have very poor customer service. When doing the rennovations to our home in November 2022 for the kitchen worktop I bought the Quartz stone from Carrara Marble who I also paid for installation of the new worktop for the new Kitchen including the breakfast table. Initially I had paid Carrara Marble a total of £ 5089 for the kitchen worktop installation in December 2022 to include the following breakdown cut out for an undermounted sink and hob £ 2,829.00 Splashback £ 1,412.00 Net total £ 4,241.00 Plus VAT @ 20% £ 848.20 £ 5,089.20 which I found really expensive and then had to pay an extra £ 520 for the following Caesarstone ‘Moorland Fog 6046’ polished composite : Drainer grooves £ 170.00 Windowsill £ 89.00 100mm high upstand £ 175.00 Net total £ 434.00 Plus VAT @ 20% £ 86.80 Balance due for payment £ 520.80 which i found to be really expensive. Subseqent to that there were a number of issues in dealing with Carrara Marble and their customer service were very rude and very unhelpful. What we wanted was a larger circular breakfast bar area not a small rectangular piece that was initially installed by Carrara. Because of the negilience of Carrara Marble fitter I had to later pay an extra £ 2372 which included Peninsular worktop replacement £ 1,977.00 Plus VAT @ 20% £ 395.40 Balance due £ 2,372.40 I have been liaising with Hanna from Carrara Marble to see if they can return this piece as is was not done correctly but she has refused and instead told us that entire area the existing piece would have to come out and re-designed in order to get the right design accordingly to our specifications.Furthermore she mentioned to get this done we would have to pay an extra £ 2372 in order to get this done and said we cannot return this piece. My mother spoke to Carrara Marble , Geeta on the 30 January 2023 and Justin on the 9th March 2023 regarding the situation and Justin mentioned that I should refer the case to the Self-Care manager as there is a strong possibility they would return and take this piece back and offer a refund. This piece itself is worth over £ 2000 however Carra Marble and Hanna in particular was quite rude and unhelpful and they refused to take the piece back. I also wanted to point out since January when dealing with Hanna from Carra Marble we had to wait so long to get an appointment. My mother she is elderly and because of her medical condition has had two knee replacement surgeries was very upset because firstly our kitchen design was incorrect from Wren, then Carrara Marble created all these problems. In March 2024 I got in contact with Hanna, as I noticed when installing the kitchen worktop and breakfast bar they didn't do the Silicone properly when installing the worktop and instead of admitting their mistake they send me a invoice of £ 180 + VAT in order for this to get done which is unacceptable and now want a full refund.

Brilliant company. We worked with Natalie and her team on various projects and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Top marks! Had a great experience with Natalie in fitting out two bathrooms with marble. We frankly wasted a lot of time looking for a reliable stone supplier until we found Carrara. Just what we had been looking for. She directed us to two helpful nearby stoneyards with an excellent selection of product, and Carrara's craftsmanship in templating was flawless. Natalie was really knowledgeable, and we received smart advice from her on materials and design that we got nowhere else. A pleasure to deal with this company.
