We have been serving Hawaii for more than 15 years, providing design, products, installation services and customer service that is unmatched in Hawaii. We've been in the industry for more than 30 years and have seen all of the changes from 8-track to VHS to DVD to Blu Ray and now to streaming and multi-media downloads! Cary and Cheryl installed our theater in our new construction, dedicated theatre room. They came in during the rough framing of the house to install the in-wall wiring and decide on best placement of speakers. After completion of construction they installed all hardware and had advised us on the best quality components for our budget. They are two of the most professional, courteous business people I have ever dealt with. While in your home they are considerate of their surroundings, keeping everything clean. Their customer service is 5 stars, so rare these days! Although they did the original installation several years ago, we have done upgrades since then and they have always responded promptly and advised us on the best quality components available as well as answering any questions we have. They also "cleaned up" our living room wall-mount flat-screen so that the wires are now in-wall. Very willing to educate me as I am very tech-deficient. I highly recommend them!

Cary and Cheryl of At Home Theater designed and installed an excellent sound system complete with all audio and video integration connections performing outstanding workmanship. For us. In the follow up period they promptly responded and solved any and all service related instances. I am totally happy and satisfied with their service even years out whenever I have a question. At Home Theater designed and installed a complete AV system in our home on Maui in 2010, which included an integrated lanai projector/ motorized screen TV, home theater room inside and individualized room audio throughout. This has continued to perform superbly and has given the family and visitors much pleasure. Cutting edge knowledge behind the design and attention to detail during the installation kept the system up to date and flexible to integrating new inputs and panels etc as technology has evolved. A particular benefit is having Cary always ready with expert advice should technical questions come up. We highly recommend AtHomeTheater for a thoroughly professional job.

We cannot say enough good things about Cary and Cheryl, they are simply wonderful to to work with! A professional from start to finish Cary's installation of our sound system and wall mounted television was done with the highest level of expertise and professionalism. Not only did he consider the technical aspects of the install but the esthetics as well—the install looks lovely and he provided us with simple and clear how-to operate instructions. As time has passed he has been there ready and willing to help integrate new components and trouble shoot any problems we have encountered. We would never even consider using another company and whole heartedly recommend Cary and Cheryl Smith of At Home Theater.

Cary Smith, founder and principal craftsman of At Home Theater of Hawaii, has masterful knowledge of his field, keeps up with the rapid evolution of his industry and adds his own creative flair and ingenuity. He rapidly understands his clients' aspirations and has the gift of eloquent simplicity in explaining difficult technical complexities to them. He did outstanding jobs in building a projected TV theater in my Kaneohe condo at Makani Kai Marina in 2006 and in significantly updating the theater when I moved to a Honolulu apartment in 2015. My children and nine grandchildren, none of whom has a TV theater, have been very favorably impressed. Cary makes himself quickly available for any technical problems which arise. I recommend him and his company enthusiastically and without reservation.

We had a significant amount of work done by At Home Theater. They integrated many components into our theater room without a single problem. They were on time, on budget and built us a masterful system. Cary's expertise in the technology is second to none and Cheryl's customer interaction/support is the best. We most strongly recommend At Home Theater and if you hire them, they will produce an outstanding product.

Wonderful people to work with. Highly knowledgeable about home video, audio set up and equipment. We hired them in the middle of a renovation to fix and finish what another company started. They installed speakers where I wanted them and a split system far superior to our original plan at a better price and in a timely manner. They are always available to answer any questions and come out if need be to take care of any issues that come up, like recently (2016) replacing our old tv screen with the latest not-even-on-the-market-yet monitor. They took the old one off the wall, took it away and hung the new one. They are the best on the island.

Very thorough and professional! Not only that Cary really knows his stuff but he also has great customer service skills that made the process even better. He took the time to help identify our needs then presented options that I would've other wise have not known. The quality of work is clean, detailed and fast.
