We just had our dream home completed by Cedarstone homes and could not be happier! From beginning to end Kim the owner of this company was very professional and attentive to our wishes! We have an Energy Star Home which is very comfortable to live in.

I've watched Cedarstone homes being built in Richmond for 20 years and it's hard to ignore the time and care Kim puts into each one. When it came time to move my parents closer, I convinced them that he was the only builder to talk to. He did not disappoint. They have been in their home for 4 months now and I can attest to the quality of the home, that it was completed on time and on budget. Equally important is the patience that Kim showed with retired newbie home buyers - I am not sure I would have been as patient and willing to do everything they wanted, and a few things they didn't think of that they are now thankful for every day. Lastly, his support continued past the closing date, he still stops me on the street to ask how things are going with the house. My next home will be a Cedarstone home.

I have worked with Cedarstone Homes for approximately 10 years. As an architectural designer, working with Cedarstone is a pleasant experience. Cerdarstone takes great pride in quality and the smallest detail is not overlooked. The owner is on site and is involved with the construction of the home. He works with my company to ensure good design and best use of space are achieved through the design process, and that the intention of that design is carried through during construction. I hope to continue to work with Cedarstone for many years to come.

We bought our current home from Cedarstone in June 2012. This builder provided us with a quality product and in our opinion we received great value for our investment. He was very receptive to any upgrades we requested and this at a great price. He was quick to address any warranty issues we have had over the last 2 years and we would recommend this builder to anyone looking for a quality built home.

When we decided to build our bungalow in Richmond, we chose Cedarstone, as we had heard good reports about the builder. Well, the reports were well founded, as we had nothing but a good experience working with the builder. This builder is a hands-on builder and is constantly checking on the progress of the building. What’s more is, that he posts pictures of the building progress on his web site, so you don’t have to visit the building site if you don’t want to. Our house was ready on time and completed to our satisfaction. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed if they decided to build a Cedarstone home.

My wife and I decided to settle down after buying and selling homes for 16 years. We met Kim on a Saturday and we had the papers signed the next day. It was the fast house buying transaction we have ever experienced. Kim is a no nonsense builder. Everything we asked about in the model home was standard. We would go every day to check on the progress of the house, anything we wanted to change, Kim had no issues doing. He is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, nice, honest, hands on, all around nice guy. Amazing building experience. We never had an issue when it can time for inspections, we had nothing to report for our 30 day and our 1 year inspections. Excellent, A+

We hired Cedarstone for an ensuite bath renovation. The owner and his team worked closely with us from the idea stage through to completion of the last few details. We were impressed by all members of the crew, from cabinet designer and installers, to plumber, electricians, HVAC contractors, drywaller, tiler, painters, and more. The owner came to the site every day and no detail or revision was overlooked. We received frequent updates on progress and plans, and the team worked hard to meet committed dates and budget. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. After the work was complete, a few minor issues were addressed promptly.
