About Us

At Cedar Works, we have over 20 years experience in creating decks and other custom outdoor living spaces in Michigan. Owner Jamie Ruddy earned his degree in Building Construction Management from Michigan State. Since then, he has gained over 2 decades of hands-on experience, training, and certification. Over the years, his business and its reputation grew as a result of overwhelmingly positive references. Jamie personally oversees every project, from the initial consultation to the final clean up.
