We recently completed a renovation of our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Architron helped us from start to finish. We completely gutted the kitchen and opened up to the dinning room. The main bathroom was also a complete gut and build-out of the space. Peter helped us recreate each space according to our vision and budget. Peter is super responsive and he attentively listened to our needs and provided creative solutions to challenges that arose along the way. He also helped ensure that contractors stayed on track and followed specs to meet quality standards and key milestones. We are extremely happy with the end result. Peter’s passion and expertise around sustainability and energy efficiency is an added benefit, not to mention that he is a stand up guy :-)

To Whom It May Concern: As a licensed realtor, I had purchased my present home with the intention of renovating and eventually putting it on the market again for a small profit. As with most “fiver-uppers”, there are always challenges to overcome. This particular property had a problem with the collapsed retaining wall. At first glance, the problem seamed like it could be mitigated with relative ease and without a lot of oversight or specificity. The reality was much different. The exterior aspect (retaining wall systems, site developments and drainage provisions) had begun with the previous owner and ended with the issue of a permit from the city. However, none of the previous contractor attempts by the previous owner had been able to satisfy the city’s requirements. Even though the permit was issued, several years had elapsed since the time of issue and it could no longer be renewed with just a fee. I found out that Mr. Nance had done the work of the first permit and decided to employ his services on the resubmission. He was courteous and professional when reviewing the project with me. His knowledge and understanding of the codes is formidable. What appeared to be a normal update to an existing permit, became an almost entirely new project and design. The requirements were more stringent then before and the work was more tedious and painstaking. The cost of the construction had also risen since the first iteration. He worked with me to find a solution that was both workable and cost effective. However, the adventure had just begun. In my town, there are multiple sub-permit approvals needed before the actual Building Permit Application can be made. Mr. Nance, patiently worked with the city and me through the entire process until we were finally awarded the permit which took several months in this case. He also was extremely helpful in advising and counseling me with other project matters that were outside of his contracted Scope of Work. His understanding of residential design and construction are noteworthy and comforting. Mr. Nance’s design solution surpassed my expectations and included a commitment to the environment (erosion control, sustainable aesthetics, etc.) as well as other cost savings. My Experience with Architron was a good one. He designed a house for me based on interest with the guidelines I gave him and he was basically there the first draft he submitted and we just made some minor adjustments to get final drawing.
