Octavian did a great job on a full sand & refinish of ~1800 sq ft of oak hardwood floors. Great customer service -- I was a very high maintenance client and Octavian had no problems involving me in the process with daily updates on everything which was being done. At the end of the project, he personally went through and took care of some minor touch-ups which were overlooked. In addition, he had a painter come in and repaint the baseboard, and a couple walls which had markings from the refinishing at no additional charge. Would highly recommend.

Octavian and his tam did a great job taking my beveled oak floor into the modern era. They worked with very thin veneers to produce an amazing whitewashed look. It really opened up our space and gives the apartment a completely new look. His team showed up on time and consulted with us in advance of any issues that arose. He is a pleasure to work with.

I hired Octavian to refinish the floors in my newly purchased spec home. The floors were so poorly done we didn't have a choice but to spend the money. If you're looking for a cheap , ok job please look elsewhere. Octavian is a master of his craft and truly takes pride in his work. He explained his process thoroughly and the reasons for each step. He also uses superior sanders and finishes. I had done a lot of research and what he said matched with what I had read. He patiently provided me with many stain samples. I could not be happier with my floors. He communicates well and promptly through phone calls and texts. I do not hesitate to recommend him.

Octavian and his team did an outstanding job staining and refinishing our red oak floors. We selected Chicago Flooring Innovations because of Octavian's attention to detail and expertise. He clearly explained the refinishing process, highlighted areas of the floor that might cause problems and explained options to best address those problem areas. He went out of his way to ensure the end result was exactly what we wanted. We could not be happier with the final product and would recommend him to family and friends.

Love the new floors. Exactly what I wanted. Installed perfectly. The only complaint, and hence the 4 star rating is that parts of the floorboards in the corners didn't get sanded perfectly and are a bit rough.

Octavian and his team did an amazing job refinishing our hard wood floors, which another contractor had botched. They perfectly matched the color and finish we were looking for, we friendly, courteous and clean and just a pleasure to work with. They communicated everything perfectly and we couldn't be happier with the floors and how they are holding up with two young kids and a dog. Highly recommend!

Commented: Stain used?Hello Sarah, The floors had been finished with a clear, matte, waterbased floor finish from Loba. The lack of sheen diminishes the redness to a certain extent, because of the lack of reflection.

Commented: The flooring looks exquisite.The resolution is not the best and the photo could be a little "enhanced" as well but, if I was to make a choice, I'd say it's a Mirage floor, possibly Maple Cape Cod, Yellow Birch Cape Cod ...
