About Us

Handmade furniture and housewares from reclaimed Napa Valley wine barrels. Wine Barrel Concepts is about quality, workmanship, and design. Some of the items we make are often those made by many; still others are unique to us. In a world that is rich with off-the-shelf consumerism, we strive to reclaim a used wine barrel and make as many things possible from it. There is a magic in the oak. And there are few things in scent like the blended smells of aged oak and Napa Valley red wine. Now we know that is not translated to our pieces, but it sure makes breaking those barrels down a whole lot more enjoyable. What we do takes time and work. And we hope you enjoy our products.

his attention to detail is par with piano builders. He can create anything he loves and knows his customers will love. Chris has built and team of artists to accomplish any project. Your imagination is your only limitation.

Chris created absolutely beautiful wooden pens in the form of bullets for us. The craftsmanship was extraordinary and they were exactly to the design we wanted. They were done in a timely manner and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him and am looking forward to using his services again!

I asked Christopher for two scotch tasting boards to be made out of wine barrel slats and boy, did he deliver! I already had the glassware but my husband wanted the actual boards. The turn-around time was super quick and my husband was really surprised and pleased with these as a Christmas gift. Very well made; they work great for scotch tasting and drinking.

I've purchased various pieces from Chris over the past few years and I always get an awesome deal. He knows his furniture and the pieces are all so personally crafted and unique! If you're looking for quality and a great experience, this is the place to go! Unique wine storage that makes you feel something is hard to come by but here they've got you covered!

Christopher at Wine Barrel Concepts is reimaging wine barrels and making them new again. He handcrafts a wide variety of unique items for your home, office, or vacation home, or as gifts for family and friends. Not only are these items unique, they are of high quality, and sturdy, so you know that they will stand the test of time. My favorite things are the dog bed and the wine bottle holders. I love my Wine Barrel Concepts wine bottle holder that is prominently displayed on my antique bar in my home. This wine bottle holder continues to be a very functional conversation piece when I have friends and family over.

I can't say enough about the quality of all the products I have seen, sold or own. From the lustre of the finishes to the attention to detail on nuts and bolts(really) - this is something you just won't see in all makers of products in this category. If you have a custom project- Christopher is your man. He has done several unique items and loves the challenge! His professionalism, integrity and love of the work shows. His pricing is fair and he stands behind his work. I look forward to working with this company again soon!

I bought a Chris' Curls Wine Rack about a year ago and I still love it. It's a solid piece of oak and the craftsmanship is of high quality. What I love about this piece is that you can display it on the wall both horizontally or vertically and it still holds the bottles securely! I recommend it to my friends constantly!

This company far exceeded my expectations for the second time! The professionalism and tact that was shown to me was exceptional. The owner was creative, prompt, efficient and easy to talk too. He was able to guide me in creating a beautiful piece and all I had was an idea. The value of the pieces I acquired far exceed the price that I paid. You can look at the pieces and see the attention to detail that was put into creating them. I will definitely use WBC for all future projects because I know they will come complete with love and perfection!

Christopher from Wine Barrel Concepts is a creative, excellent craftsman. He has made several wood items for me that I gave as gifts and the recipients just loved them! One of the unique items I had made was a cheese plate made from a wine stave. The quality was fantastic and the item was ready on time and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Wine Barrel Concepts.
