About Us

Established on 1998, Applelec is the company behind the award winning LED Light Sheet. Manufactured in the UK by Applelec, LED Light Sheet has been selected by architects and lighting designers such as Foster + Partners and dpa Lighting to illuminate Molton Brown, ME London, Mulberry and the Hammersmith Apollo. Used also for a number of residential projects including a stunning Georgian Townhouse, LED Light Sheet provides creative versatility. LED Light Sheet is a patented solution for backlighting and uses a process known as edge lighting. Thermally managed LEDs are embedded within the perimeter of a clear acrylic sheet, which is etched to deliver bright and even light across the entire surface of the panel. Created to bespoke requirements, LED Light Sheet can be integrated within a range of applications and is suitable for interior and exterior installations. A choice of warm and cool white or RGB LEDs with dimmable controllers are available to ensure all project aesthetics are met.
