Conklin Architecture was created in 2015 by Kevin Conklin, Architect. After years of working throughout the Hudson Valley with local Architects, Kevin felt the need to branch out and fill the need for an Architectural firm in Greene County, NY where he and his wife choose to live and raise their family. Kevin Conklin graduated from the State University of New York, Alfred in 2002 and received his license to practice Architecture in 2015. Conklin Architecture has experience in Residential, Educational, Hospitality, and Commercial projects throughout the New York City and the Hudson Valley.

He designed an imaginative solution for expanding our house that gave us more living area and brought light into a dark house in the woods. He listened to our ideas and worked with us to shape them into a highly successful design. Solved problems with creative ideas but sensitive to budget. He also supervised the construction since we are weekenders and we had barely a hiccup due to his hard work.

We bought a beat up old ranch house in the Hudson valley with the intention of transforming it into a modern farmhouse. We thought we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. After meeting with Kevin, he listened to our wants, clarified our needs, then blew us away with his interpretation of what he had heard from us. He took us out of our comfort zone while opening our eyes to possibilities we had never considered , and delivered a spectacular design! Everyone says the house looks like it doubled in size, when in fact, the footprint is exactly what we started out with. That's magic! He was always on site overseeing the job, answering all texts and emails promptly, and calling to discuss potential design improvements as they arose. So creative, with great attention to detail. Completely professional, while maintaining an easy going, relaxed personality that made him such a pleasure to work with. Don't even hesitate for a moment! Just call Conklin Architecture! Great architect, common sense / hands-on, creative, balanced, personable. He's done many projects for us including a 10,000 sq ft fleet maintenance building with in-floor radiant heat & offices. Several commercial renovations taking in in what the local planning boards would find aesthetically appealing yet functional for our retail purposes. We added 8k sq feet to our main offices, 2 stories and even a slide at our request. Handled a couple residential renovation projects for properties we've purchased and also a 6 bedroom new construction ski house in the Catskill Mtns. I would highly recommend Conklin Architecture 100%.
