mark lowe – lighting, is a company dedicated to good quality and simple design. The saying ‘form follows function’ is very important to the look of our products. “I have always loved to look at good design, whether it is something designed to work well; or something that is a beautiful object. My main influences are modern design, drawing from the early 20th century modernist movement and the Bauhaus school. I am also interested in Scandinavian design which shares the same ideals." The products are designed to be hand made in batches, drawing from the ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century. The products are not ‘One offs’ but quality hand made products made for people who love well designed objects.
