Mark is a craftsman who did excellent work in installing bathroom counters. He arrived on time and stayed focused on finishing work in timely manner. He also earlier did a great job installing tile in bathrooms.

Mark Bowers came to us with excellent recommendations from many coworkers over the years. We had the advantage of hearing how their home projects were coming along up until their finish. All were very pleased with Mark's work and competitive pricing. We hired Mark to do our downstairs bathroom. We provided the materials, he provided his ideas, expertise and labor. We were very impressed with Mark's graphics design background and an eye for taking the materials we chose and suggesting a design to install with those materials. He is very skilled in all aspects of remodeling and building including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and tile work, to name a few. We were very happy with his attention to detail, contentiousness and making sure we were happy with the work when done. He is very focused on the customer experience and keeping a good line of communication open. We were happy with his work so hired him to then do our upstairs bathroom remodel. Again, consistent good work at a fair price. One item to make note of is Mark's great problem solving ability. As we all know, you don't know what you will find until you tear everything out and discover what's been there all that time. In our bathroom remodels, he discovered both of the ceiling fans were not vented outside and instead, one vented into the floor boards and the other up into the insulation in the attic. Luckily, he checked and didn't see any mold from the moisture all these years. We could not just easily cut through the support beams etc. to run a vent outside, so Mark researched some options and consulted an engineer friend of his to make sure the structure's integrity stays in tact. He was able to find a way to run one vent to the side of the house and the other utilizing the roof vent. Problem solved and the fans work better than they ever have! We had a great experience all around both times and would hire Mark for our next project when that time comes. We highly recommend Mark for any job you have especially those that need some creative thinking along with professional building and remodeling skills!

Mark has done two bathroom remodels for me as well as painting the interior of my home most recently. One of the bathrooms can be seen here as Kelly's New Bathroom. I still absolutely love it after two years. He's very detail-oriented, which is exactly what you want in someone doing this type of work. Mark helped me with decisions about the tile in the bathroom and it turned out beautifully. He was also gracious about changes I requested in the middle of the projects. When he painted the interior, plus the doors and trim, he caulked the trim edges that met the walls for a really nice finished look. Because of the fine work he does, several friends of mine have hired him to work for them as well.
