Friends and clients alike know that Erica has been perfecting how to live the ideal island lifestyle since relocating from Green Bay, Wisconsin to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1999. During that time she studied graphic design and competed on scholarship with their equestrian team. In 2001 her family decided to kiss the snow goodbye and Bluffton has been home ever since. Celebrating nearly 2 decades in the Lowcountry, Erica has been a full time resident of Daufuskie Island since 2012. She is the proud founder and executive director of the Daufuskie Marsh Tacky Society, whose mission is to promote and protect our South Carolina State Heritage Horse through breeding, training and sales plus educational and special events programming. With a lifetime passion for horse sports, she is especially capable of guiding buyers and sellers of equestrian properties. She is married to her secret weapon Tony, who has been a full time resident and contractor on Daufuskie for 10 years. This power couple is enthusiastically focused on exceeding clients’ expectations by combining their decades of local knowledge, positive working relationships, process experience, new construction and remodel experience, logistics expertise and negotiation skills to get things done.
