About Us

DYR-Ex GC Inc. is a New York based Polish-American construction company that was founded twelve years ago in Middle Village, NY. Since inception, our company has successfully completed hundreds of projects ranging from large-scale retail space build outs to high-end luxury apartment remodeling in New York City and the surrounding tri-state area. This includes construction of new buildings, apartments and superstructure floors while never forgetting how high-end finishing is critical for our customer’s satisfaction. Our first office-showroom located in Maspeth, NY opened in 2007 and offered our clients a multitude of kitchen cabinet styles all of which were imported from Europe. An additional office and showroom was opened in Middle Village during 2010 to meet the increased demand in the Metro area. We currently build any style of kitchen cabinet, built-ins ,TV-units etc. in our own woodwork shop staffed with professional millworkers which is located in Brooklyn NY as we find this is best practice in order to meet the most fastidious tastes of our clients. We are able to prepare any design/sample for approval without additional or hidden expenses. Our clients are familiar with our professional standards, reliable work and high quality craftsmanship. DYR-Ex (also known as NYC Kitchen and Bath) did a fantastic job renovating my entire first floor. The kitchen has received rave reviews from all who have seen it and 1 acquaintance has already moved on from a previously contractor and hired DYR-Ex after seeing the results. Others have asked for their contact information. Pictures will be coming shortly.

We renovated our whole apartment. We were afraid to trust anybody our home, fortunately we decided to go with DYR Ex. Work was performed in a very professional way and with fluent communication the whole time. Matt was always very responsive and able to take care of everything we asked for. We can tell they are very skilled and were able to finish on time, which we really appreciate. Some changes were made along the way, however they manage to stay close to the original budget. For sure we will recommend them to friend and family.

We have used DYR-Ex for two of our kitchens. They are extremely professional and provide reliable service. Ula provided high-quality design services for both kitchens. She presented valuable insight in helping us to choose cabinet styles and finishes. The installation provided was the best craftsmanship I have experienced when doing a renovation. The installer was faced with a few spacing issues that he was able to solve with creative solutions. I am planning to use DYR-Ex for another kitchen remodeling this coming spring. You get what you pay for and I did get what I paid for. The quality of work and products were worth the cost.

Derrick and his team of workers are very professional and work very clean. After the job is done everyday they clean and vacuum after themselves. Also, if any issues arises, they immediately resolved it with no problem.

I hired DYR-Ex to do a gut renovation and they did terrific work. They are knowledgeable, easy to work with and committed to quality. They are reliable--return phone calls and emails promptly, showed up to work everyday and truly care about delivering high quality. They are also good problem solvers. DYE-Ex delivered on time and within budget.

The guys from DYR-Ex installed a new quartz counter top in my kitchen. Only good stuff to say about them. Said they would be at my place at 9 am and they showed up at 9 am. Had all he tools and equipment needed. Took them 4 hours to complete the job. I didn't expect it to take this long but I guess when you do something correctly - it takes time. They did not cut any corners. Everything came out leveled and the seams were smooth to touch and practically invisible. Just great work all around. And one last thing - the guys were NICE. None of the "stuck up contractor", "I know it all" attitude.... If you dealt with contractors in the past you know what I am talking about. It was a pleasure working with these guys.

I can be very difficult. I set a very high bar. It is what is expected of me in my work. So when I set out to hire and invite a crew into my home to renovate the most important room in my house, the kitchen, a space where my wife and I spend a great deal of time together, I was very particular. We had worked on a design for three years, planning every detail. I presented my drawings to Ula at NYC Kitchen and Bath who transferred my work into an exacting set of working shop drawings. Our house was originally constructed in 1924. I was explicit in making sure that the renovation was to be period specific. Detailing down to the exact window and floor molding finishes. The Dyr-Ex General Contracting Inc. crew of carpenters and painters executed perfectly. To this day, after a big cook, with the kitchen cleaned and shut down, I stand back and marvel at the detail work, the finishes, the paint. I stand humbled, bravo to this entire operation.

Darek Lipski did an excellent job on our project. Our apartment was in need of a major facelift after a so-so renovation 12 years ago. He fixed many of the past flaws, with great attention to detail. He stayed on top of his team and subcontractors, spotting issues before we saw them. Whenever we pointed out any issues, he and his team promptly addressed them. He was also fair about price, including about the inevitable changes that take place in the course of any project. The project did take longer than originally expected but I attribute that to the meticulous work of his team.

We recently renovated our kitchen and had our hardwood floors replaced. Based on our consultation with Darek and recommendations from others who have had work completed by Dyr-Ex, we hired DYR-Ex for the job. We were very satisfied with the quality of work and eye for detail with our project. Derek's employees were very talented, timely and very neat ( which was so important as we were living in the house as the work was being done). The cabinets, tile work and floors are exactly what were requested. The job stayed within our budget and time constraints. We would not hesitate to recommend DYR-Ex. We would definitely hire DYR-Ex for future jobs.

Darek and his crew were excellent. We used them on three occasions for bathroom and kitchen remodelings in our Upper West Side apartment. All the workers were excellent mechanics, did great work, cleaned up after themselves in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them.
