About Us

*Hunter Douglas Authorized Dealer* By opening her own businesses in January 1992 and 10 years of previous experience, Debbie now has many years of experience working in the home decorating industry. Debbie has an Associate Degree from Illinois Central College in Interior Design, holds the status of Associate level of Window Fashions Certified Professionals Program, is a member of a national on-line group called Drapery Pros, a member of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce and is a Certified Dealer for Hunter Douglas Windows Fashions. She has been featured several times in "Draperies and Window Coverings" Magazine. In 2015, Debbie won the Pekin Daily Times "2013-2020 Tazewell County Readers Choice Award for Favorite Interior Decorator". Debbie takes pride in quality craftsmanship and meeting and exceeding the clients design requirements. Debbie measures, designs, fabricates and installs all window treatments, thereby cutting down the cost, by eliminating the middle-man and errors. Customers don't have to go to Debbie, she goes directly to them. Her van is equipped with fabric samples, books and other related materials which she takes into the customers' home and offices for personal customizing - a true Shop at Home Service!

We asked Debbie to come to our home to help us make a decision on draperies. We wanted a new look for our living room windows and she was so helpful. With a high degree of professionalism, she offered us many ideas about color choices and design concepts. We are so happy with the end results. The color choice is very neutral and will allow us to change furniture color and not need to have new draperies. The two finger pleats give us a more modern feel and look so nice framing the window. Working with Debbie is always wonderful. She did our family room in our previous home and we received SO many compliments and recommended her to many of our friends who saw her great work in our home. This home (which we have lived in for about 20 years) did not have any coverings on our living room or kitchen/dining area. The glare on our TV was really getting annoying so we made the call to Debbie. She was very anxious to come out and give us her expert ideas. She is always so concerned with our comfort and our likes. We were always kept informed if there was ever a problem and of course with the delays in shipping, there were delays. Very apologetic that things were taking so long which we totally understood the problem. We are so happy with everything that we have now and would recommend Debbie to whomever might need her. She also did my sewing room about 5 years ago. SHE IS THE BEST.

I just bought a new house and needed some shades for my office and dining room. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and reached out to Debbie. She had great ideas, measured them for me, ordered the shades, and had them installed. They look absolutely beautiful and better than I imagined they would be. I would highly recommend Debbie for any window treatments you might need.

I have been wanting to update my window treatments for a couple of years. I read about Debbie in the local newspaper. She was very accommodating with setting up a time to come to my house. She is very easy to work with. She brought many ideas and books to help me decide. I love my hunter Douglas luminette privacy sheers. I bought the remote control or I can program the sheers to open and shut by my phone. It only took a couple of weeks to install my new window treatments. Debbie came with the installer the day they were installed and walked me through everything. If looking for new window treatments I suggest you call Debbie. She made this big project that I had put off very easy!!!
