Design, fabricate & install shade sails / shade structures. Welcome to Got Shade, the one shop stop for information on different types of shade sails ranging from garden shades to types of sun shade sails. Got Shade is a division of Courtyard Construction and is licensed by the state of California as general contractor and concrete contractor B/C8 for over 20 years. Got Shade's coverage area is Southern California and the Las Vegas area.

After engaging several providers, Derek rose above all with his personal service and knowledge of the business. We are a church that had a very challenging space that needed shade. Derek came up with a great design that provided the necessary shade and it fit in beautifully with our architecture. Felt like a partnership all the way through to completion. Would be happy to talk to anyone going through this process on our great experience.

This company is AMAZING!!! From start to finish they exceeded my expectations!! Derek the owner was very informative about the process & literally put us at ease. Got Shade showed up on time each day & the job was completed quickly!! We love our shade in our back yard!!! Thank you Got Shade Team you have made our back yard even more enjoyable!! My only regret is not doing it sooner!! 5 STARS!!!

We were more than happy with Derek and his crew. All of his installers were professional , timely, and friendly. The anchor points for the sails were made incredibly strong. The custom made posts are buried quite deep in large diameter post holes dug down very deep. The anchors on the house are made of very thick metal plates screwed into corner wood beams, and one of the anchor loops is reinforced in the attic with a metal brace that they made on the spot. We have seen installations from other companies with thin pole anchors and eye bolt screws anchored into fascia of the house... NO COMPARISON ! In summary: a beautiful design placed by highly professional people.

Got Shade is a superior vendor. They delivered everything promised, by the deadlines promised, and at the price and quality promised. The job for which we hired them was the construction of a very large shade sail, attached to our house on one side, and on posts on the other. We park cars under the sail. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Ben

originally I had install one shade in my backyard. I loved the shade and was very impressed with the quality of both the shade and the stainless steel hardware. And the overall look of it. So a couple of years later I installed a second shade next to it. Now I am doubly impressed. I would definitely recommend your shades to anyone interested in high quality shades.

Derek is amazing at designing, building, and installing sail shades. I love my sail shades for many reasons. Obviously providing shade were we have a table set; but, it also looks cool and is an opportunity to hang lights. We have also helped a pool client to put up a sail shade too. It really has made a difference for my client and in my own yard. Outdoor Living at its best!

Derek has always done his very best to design and accomodate the most difficult shapes and installations for my architectural designs.
