Several of my clients have hired Kathleen to assist with paint color selection after the completion of their outdoor landscape renovation. She has a very good eye for color, how it relates to other features in the landscape as well as bringing out the individual beauty and detail of the home. She has also assisted with interior design projects for my clients too. We have been so lucky to find Evansa Designs! We recently purchased a home that needs a complete makeover and Kathleen has been patiently guiding us through this overwhelming undertaking. From the moment we first met her, Kathleen treated every task, no matter how small, as her most important project and she diligently sought out the most interesting and unique solutions to every request we made. We started small, asking her for advice on interior paints and she selected paint colors for every single surface in our house. (Watching her do a paint consultation is absolutely fascinating! She tested paint colors on every wall, in every type of light until she found the perfect hues.) We also purchased plantation shutters for our house from Kathleen and she managed that entire process from measuring, selection of materials, design, ordering, and even installation. She's currently doing the design work on our kitchen remodel and her creativity and impeccable taste show in every detail. She has an excellent network of suppliers and contractors and her familiarity with the construction process has been extremely helpful in keeping sub-contractors on task. All in all, Kathleen is just a joy to work with. She's extremely professional, very reliable, respectful of time and budget, totally trustworthy (I gave her a key to our house when we were on vacation and we returned to find all of our shutters installed and the worksite immaculate!), and just a really fun person to spend time with while tracking down materials for a project! I whole heartedly recommend her for any project, both large and small.

From flooring (carpet & hardwood), to paint, furniture and accessories, Kathleen picked colors and textures that transformed my house into a completely different place. Keeping with some of my existing furniture and accessories and evolving the scheme in the house into something I never thought was possible.
