We contracted Ed Saloga Design for a basement renovation. From beginning to end, Ed and his team were excellent to work with. They exceeded our expectations on every aspect. He hires the best tradesmen in the business - all very talented, professional and respectful. He cares about all the little details of the project. He kept us informed and consulted us throughout the project, and had the right level of flexibility throughout for any potential changes along the way. And the trim craftsmanship in our basement is stunning. We are extremely happy with our basement and have received so many compliments. Our only regret is that the project is over and that we are not able to see Ed and his team on a daily basis. I hope we have the pleasure of working with Ed and his team again in the future. We contracted Ed Saloga Design Build to design and build our custom lakehouse and just completed the project. After meeting with several architect and design-build firms, once we met with Ed and saw some examples of his work we knew his vision of our project was on board with what we wanted. He was creative and excited to do some out of the box designs that we envisioned in order to create our new-old farmhouse. Throughout the process, Ed tweaked the designs to our requests and came up with ideas that we wouldn't have thought of based on his expertise. Ed and his team put so much care into their finish work and it shows. The level of craftsmanship in the carpentry work is superb, creating a home that looks stunning inside and out. Ed built several custom pieces for the home himself based on descriptions of what we were looking for and knew exactly what would work perfect for the space. We would definitely recommend Ed Saloga Design Build for a custom home project.

I have done construction for 13 years and I recently did a job at a ed saloga house . He is in tune with the homeowners and knows how to meet every need .The design and quality of his house is by far the best I have worked in. aAll of his trades are great at what they do and the team work is amazing. He custom built a home for us in 2015 and from the initial drawings to completion he displayed a focused vision for our home and a pride in its construction that my wife and I really appreciated. I agree with a previous reviewer that said Ed tactfully challenges you to think out of the box. I remember a room feature that going into the project we were convinced one way. Ed gave his ideas on it and we decide to run with it. Looking at it now, I can't believe we were thinking otherwise. Having someone with experience and talent was nice for us because we may like something but struggle to effectively implement it. Ed delivered that for us. The entire process was stress free and we could not be happier with the results, especially with the woodworking detail. Ed’s work is top notch and we highly recommend.

When the time came to finish the lower level of our home, Ed Saloga Design/Build was the firm that we chose. We knew they had built beautiful homes in our area, and Ed's design aesthetic was akin to my own. The estimate that we received was specific and fairly priced. To our great delight, working with the Ed Saloga team was a joy. Every individual was both talented and professional, and Ed stayed on top of every element of both the design and the construction. Any questions along the way were immediately answered and handled. Ed did personalized, detailed drawings of every aspect of the project. From our custom bar, to built-in bookcases and benches, and even beautifully customized and finished closets -- no detail was ignored. Ed fleshed out basic ideas that we had, and added much in the way of design advice; so that our effort was collaborative and the ultimate functionality of the space was realized. The carpentry and stonework are exquisitely done. From a concrete shell with beautiful look-out views: a warm bar and billiards room, a gathering/media room, a work-out room complete with a fully mirrored wall, full customized bathroom, and a bedroom with a tray ceiling were all created. Our home is incredibly enhanced by this space. We wanted it to feel like an extension of the rest of our home, not an afterthought, and this was achieved beyond what we had hoped.

Our first experience with Ed was when he helped us design and build our home. We were so impressed with his workmanship that we had him return to complete different upgrades around the house and outdoors.
