My wife and I hired Ean and his general foreman Am to construct a Muskoka room, to build a small addition (new office), and to turn a windowless basement room into a legal bedroom with a window and closet. From the early stages, Ean was honest and transparent with us. His communication was clear. We always felt he had our best interest in dealing with subcontractors and he took full accountability for his work. They were able to work on the fly and make adaptations when needed. The final product was better than we could have anticipated. We would fully recommend his services.

Ean and his crew did a small room addition to our home, we are really thrilled with the results! The quality and precision of the construction was exceptional. Ean himself is a great communicator and at no time where we left in the dark about extra costs or changes that we proposed during construction. We had 4 city inspections during the build and at no time was the job halted due to failure to meet code. Ean's ability to stay within budget and cost estimates were exceptional. We are totally satisfied with our addition and highly recommend Ean and the other professionals at EK Construction.

Ean and his team have been working on my project since the start of the year and it's been nothing short of fantastic! Ean is approachable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, reliable and always striving to do good, high quality work. One particular trait I found particularly helpful is that Ean keeps project momentum going at all times, he'll work around any issues/obstacles that may come up (especially in a reno. of 100 year+ old home). He's very agile in assessing issues, presenting thought-out solutions to keep the project moving. Also, Ean and his team also worked weekends to meet deadlines - much appreciated when working with some tight deadlines. From an administration standpoint - Ean provides frequent updates, detailed/itemized scope and an open line of communication throughout. I had a small electrical job that I needed done and I didn't know anyone in the area. I took a chance on Ean after reading a few reviews. Despite the fact that the job was very small (one day), he was professional, quick-to-respond and happy to help. The work was completed by an electrician on the scheduled day without issue. I wasn't in town, but Ean was easy to connect with online or over the phone and answered (in detail) all the questions I had. Since working with him, I have also asked Ean other questions and for local references for other professionals. He was always quick to reply, easygoing and helpful. Thanks Ean! I had only a small job done with EK, but based on my experience I will definitely connect with them when larger jobs come up.

EAn Koo When we first met Ean explained everything in detail and how long the project was going to take. Ean sent me invoice with great detail the costs incorporated in this renovation. He also talked with us through the renovation if he needed to know anything, and answered any questions we had. Ean was most professional when he was requested to repair wall damage in the store. He took the time to listen and to understand the issues. Unlike some other trades professional, he communicates to his customers with great respect and does not "talk down" to them. He did a thorough assessment and then provided clear explanation about the project. Subsequently, appropriate resource and personnel required for the work were arranged in a timely and organized manner. The project was completed according to schedule without any disruption to our business operation. All in all, we are very satisfied with the quality of work completed. Ean from EK Construction helped us with a large renovation of a small older house. He was very attentive and easy to get in touch with at all times. Ean was able to help us prioritize projects with the budget we had. We did have one small mis communication that was promptly corrected in a professional manner. Overall we were happy with the work Ean provided, and would definatly recommend him as a contracter in the future.

This is a small company and easy to relate to. They were very patient with my questions, provided answers and recommendations. Their people are capable and thorough and although the completion was a few days longer than planned i am aware that it's difficult to pin everything down exactly. I am delighted with the finished bathroom.
