About Us

Hello, I'm Emily and I'm the owner and founder of Embellish Interior design, an interior design and home staging company based in Cardiff, Wales. I have had a varied career working in mortgages, hospitality, teaching English as a foreign language as well as stretching my travelling legs to explore the world picking up plenty of design inspiration along the way! ✈ Travelling gave me a new perspective on life and when I returned I decided life was too short to not follow my dreams and started to study interior design with a view to setting up my own business. Which lead to the birth of Embellish Interior Design! ❤ We offer a variety of bespoke interior design packages to suit every budget and style as well as a homestaging service to maximise the potential value in your property by presenting and staging it in the best possible light to attract the right buyer! . We hired Embellish Interior Design towards the end of a large building project at our house. We needed help with the interior design of three children’s bedrooms; two boys and one girl. Emily helped us to theme each room, prepared mood boards full of ideas, measured and considered the room layouts, sourced and even ordered items for us. She thought of absolutely everything from small wardrobe knobs to full curtains and blinds. She took the time to understand exactly what would suit each child and listened to our requirements and preferences whilst also pointing out alternative approaches that we would not otherwise have considered. I would definitely use Embellish Interiors again and recommend their services to anyone who wants to create homely, tailored rooms but does not have the time or experience to make it a reality. Emily showed real dedication to our project and great attention to detail. She was very thorough, full of ideas and always willing to help. We are all delighted with the end result!

I found Emily to be friendly, professional and efficient and she helped greatly with advising on the design and layout for the bedrooms and living room in my new house. With my knowledge of interior design being next to nothing having someone who could advise on aspects such as colour schemes, best use of light and space made a big help and saved me a lot of time! She also researched suitable matching furniture and accessories for the rooms, again saving me a lot of time. Would recommend!

Emily was really helpful when I bought my first home. She had great ideas for the decor and chose some lovely pieces to compliment the furniture I already had. I would definitely recommend.
