I hired Banyen Tree Craftsman for two jobs and I do not give a 5 star rating lightly. I am a particular person and this company deserves this rating for the work they have performed for me. We first hired them to repair a wooden step on our staircase that my dog decided to use as a chew toy. The work was performed quickly and extremely well. It was a complicated project, but after the new step was installed, nobody could tell that it had even been replaced. Then we hired Banyen Tree to build a large stand alone kitchen cabinet for additional storage. It turned out amazing, was exactly what we ordered, and the quality was well above what I expected. The owner of this company has the ability to work with different species of wood that offset each other in fantastic ways. Also, he pays attention to the details when building and that is what makes this company special. The cabinet is not just a cabinet, but a work of art. It will last more than a lifetime and will be passed on to the grandchildren. I would hire Banyen Tree again in a second if I needed any wood working completed in my house or a special heirloom piece of furniture. The owner of Banyen Tree is fair, honest, timely, and best of all very good at what he does!

Originally this company came to me as an installer.I was impressed with the work ethic, professionalism and attention to detail that Mr Newman brought to the job.Good conscientious tradesmen are very difficult to find in Hawaii.I hired Mr Newman to do personal projects . I never had a problem conveying my dream to him and his creativity was a real asset. Banyen Tree Craftsman is at the top of my list for future projects and referral to all seeking quality workmanship.
