My husband surprised me with a new gas insert for my birthday and we are VERY satisfied with The Fireplace Corner. We had previously spoken with another locally owned competitor in the Lincoln Park area and even had them out to measure for a bid and they never even called us back! (Very poor business practice, in my opinion.) The FC came out and had it installed in just a couple hours (around my schedule so it was a surprise) and then came back again another day to thoroughly show me how to operate it. The techs were very professional and knew their business. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Now bring on the snow!

Our experience of getting an old gas fireplace REPLACED with a gorgeous Slimline 2017 Special SL-5X - With Chateau Forge Front couldn't have gone more smoothly. We appreciated so much the helpful information and superb guidance we got from Alan, the demo and then the expert install by Kenny, and the patience and friendliness from all who answered our questions and offered advice . At the end of July the fireplace was ordered, and it was installed August 10th. The excellent service of The Fireplace Corner was exactly what a customer hopes for.. And, finally, they recommended Lakeview Masonry who did a top-notch job witih stonework fior the fireplace. Every aspect of this experience was GREAT. 5 STARS

Alan and all of the staff at the Fireplace Corner are outstanding! Not only do they know their trade, but they take a genuine interest in you as a person. We just built a lake home on Lake superior and they helped us select the PERFECT unit for our fireplace. We found a wood-burning fireplace that we could convert to gas if we ever wanted to. They came out and installed the unit with meticulous detail! We could't be happier and we HIGHLY recommend them!

I found this company to be awesome. They helped me decide on what I wanted to do and found an affordable way to do it. When circumstances came up during the install, they patiently and competently solved the problems and helped me be happy with Plan B. Any company should find it easy to give good service when things go well. A good one continues to provide good advice and service when things don't go as planned.

The Fireplace Corner installed two new units and repaired one installed by a less than professional installer. Their workmanship, dependability and honesty was 100% and I would have absolutely no problem recommending them to another potential customer. Although we didn't have a hard budget number for them to work within, they did two fireplaces for 40% less than the unscrupulous, previous, contractor...whom I did not hire but inherited. The sales and installation people were very attentive.
