In summary: (1) they took an order for a product they didn’t have in stock, on the promise of a two-week delivery (2) their customer service is appalling (3) They hold onto your money longer than need be. I placed an order for a very expensive (£5.5k) Bamboo Gazebo with this company. Prior to placing the order, when I was considering which of two gazebos to buy, I sent The Garden Furniture Centre (GFC) an email asking how long delivery was and was told that it was two weeks. When I placed the order by telephone, before committing I asked again about delivery and was told two weeks. I went ahead and placed the order. A week after the order I started to enquire about a delivery date as nobody had contacted me and I wanted to ensure that my diary was kept free. I had to chase and chase by numerous emails and telephone calls to eventually get an answer. During this chasing, I was given the email address of their supplier and fitter. I sent him several emails – none of which he replied to. It wasn’t until the day by which the gazebo should have arrived and been erected, was I told that they had “stock issues”. Despite numerous further emails I got no further update, other than “they’d look into it”. I asked for a partial refund because of the hassle they’d caused, and I was offered 10% off the next thing I bought from them – as if I’m going to buy anything else from them after this fiasco! Eventually, I wrote to the director/owner formally complaining. I got no response. Had they realised immediately there was a stock problem, contacted me straight away, offered to knock 10% off the value because of the inconvenience, and then spontaneously kept me informed rather than me having to chase them all the time, they’d have kept a customer, not had this honest review nor the negative word of mouth as I tell everyone I know about the saga. Zero customer understanding. I cancelled my order. Fortunately, I found another supplier, at a significantly lower price. (ie £1.5k cheaper!) so placed an order with them. About two hours after the cancellation, the GFC’s supplier/fitter deigned to phone me to say he had my gazebo and could fit it in 5 days. I told him I had cancelled the order because it had taken too long and was buying one elsewhere. He had the arrogance to claim that he was the only supplier in the country when I'd already placed an order with someone else!! When I cancelled the order with GFC, I was told that a refund takes up to 2 weeks to go though. Rubbish. With BACS payments they can refund me immediately. I told them that they were to refund me that day, or I would start charging them interest on my money that they've held from the day 1. They didn't refund me, so now owe me interest, and they are being reported to Trading Standards. To put it in perspective, the new company can deliver in 1 working day, and you only pay a 10% deposit, the balance being paid on delivery and construction.

Warning, do not use this company, do not give this company your money, ordered a parasol base 5 weeks ago and still not delivered, no contact, no service, just hollow promises. If I could give a minus 1 I would. Zero rated customer service and company.

Absolutely horrific experience. Bought £4K of furniture at London Boat Show and promised (in writing) delivery in mid / late March. The rep seemed very genuine however seems to just lie to people I assume for commission. Mid March we contacted them who advised they had tried to contact us by phone and in writing for full payment, and our failure to reply had delayed delivery - lie number 1! (Keep reading). We paid over the phone there and then. April we called again and we were told that we were next on the list to call but were unable to deliver as too busy. - lie number 2&3 I wrote a letter to the Director (Jon) and the rep who missold the furniture to us and Grant (rep) - in his defence - contacted us the next day to advise that our furniture wasn’t even in the country and was delayed on a ship. He did arrange some temporary furniture direct from a show but it was scratched and damaged and also not what we ordered (by this time fair is fair we wanted our delivery). Finally yesterday the director seems to have accepted that he needs to deal with this and advised that our furniture has arrived and they can deliver week commencing 4th June...how about no!?! His next offer is 31st May (magic!!) then advises that actually he made a mistake and will be 1st June. They have had £4K of our money for so long now it is almost criminal. Still no apology, and overall the worst experience we have probably had. Shame really as the furniture is such good quality. I pray it turns up soon but have no confidence anymore.

Easy to find near Stratford Upon Avon. There are a variety of furniture to look at from conservatory to outdoors furniture. Lots of quality items are available in store and in their website. There prices are very reasonable and beat a lot of other places for variety, price and quality. would recommend a visit or go to their website.

I highly recommend the Garden Furniture Centre as their products are of high quality and the range is excellent. The prices are great too! The customer service stands out as the best I've ever encountered and I look forward to purchasing from them again. I was looking for some furniture for the garden but something a little quirky that was solid (not cheap and nasty) I found everything I needed on the site, from outdoor corner storage to a lovely side table made from glass reinforced concrete. I've had many compliments on how wonderful it looks. Thank you Garden Furniture Centre!

We bought a large 8 seat circular teak table, chairs & umbrella. Very helpful genuine advice regarding size & suitability. I had lots of questions! Delivery was on the day of our choosing, with a curtesy call for time of day. Furniture was unpacked in position & all packaging removed. Excellent service.

Bought a tuk tuk bar from the ideal home show. Service was excellent from start to finish. Awesome items they have in stock. Can't wait to see what they have at the show next.

Bought a "Bruce the Bull" drinks cooler from here. First class service, excellent product which everyone comments on. Met this company at the Southampton boat show and they were very helpful.
