Buzz Home Pros

We hired Buzz Home Pros to put new siding on our home. They use a finance company called GreenSky for financing. We applied for a loan and were approved for up to $40,000, although the project came in just over $34,000. John, the contact at Buzz Home Pros, wrote up the work order along with an agreement that our monthly payments for 10 years would not exceed $400. He also said we did not need to pay/sign anything until the job was complete and that if we did not like the work, we would not have to pay. The work was completed and looks fantastic. We called John to ask about signing a loan agreement for the work and he said GreenSky would be in touch with us soon. Two months went by and we heard nothing until one day we got a collection call from GreenSky. When we told them we had not received a loan agreement to sign or any other paperwork from their company, they claimed they sent it to the wrong address and would send out the paperwork right away. A few days later, we received a late payment statement with late fees attached - but still no loan agreement spelling out the payment terms or percentage rate, although it did appear they were billing us for the full $40,000 that we were approved for. We called to dispute the total amount owed on their statement and told them again that we never signed a loan agreement and were told they would sent that out. Then we started getting daily collection calls, multiple times a day from GreenSky demanding payment. We don't even know for sure what our monthly payment is supposed to be with them! We tried going back to John at Buzz Home Pros and he tried to reach someone at GreenSky and got nowhere. Shortly thereafter, he stopped talking to us and had his secretary call us, who couldn't get anywhere with GreenSky either or produce a loan agreement on their end. It is now 6 weeks later and NO ONE at Buzz Home Pros is communicating with us anymore and GreenSky continues their collection calls (4 calls today). I love the new siding on my house and want to pay for it but we can't seem to get a straight answer out of Buzz Home Pros or GreenSky. I am afraid this is now going to wreck our credit rating. Definitely NOT going to recommend a company that can't even get you a signed loan agreement. Very disappointed with John and Buzz Home Pros for leaving us in the lurch this way. Avoid this contractor and his finance company partner.

I hired GRSW to install siding on my home. John and his partner Paul are both great and very responsive. Communication was easy with them and they very accessible. They showed up on time, completed work in the time they specified, and honored their original quote. There were no hidden charges and I would hire them again.

My experience with GRSW was great. John was so attentive to detail and will walk you through every step of the way when you're doing windows and siding. My fiber cement siding looks amazing and so do my new windows thank you GRSW!!
