We chose Gennaro Contracting, not because the price was competitive (which it was) but because AJ was by far the most courteous and reliable contractor we met with and showed genuine interest in our project. His team completed the first phase of the job (exterior painting) with care and attention to detail and were respectful of us and our property, cleaning up and clearly communicating the status of their work at the end of each day. We look forward to working with them on future tasks.

AJ Gennaro installed a closet in our guest bedroom. He responded promptly to my request on Houzz, and came the next day to review the project. His pricing was fair and reasonable. He completed the closet in 3 days with one other person helping. He was always on time, worked hard, and was respectful of our wishes, and our home. Highly recommended!

A.J. removed and replaced approximately 660 sq. feet of decking. The work was excellent, completed on time, and with complete clean-up following the work. A.J was personable and easy to work with. He consulted us at key decision points and found solutions to all questions. We will definitely hire him to complete future work for us. We recommend him most highly.

Great work by a great guy. AJ spent many days in our house; from installing window to interior painting and carpentry work. His workmanship was top notch, he thinks about what he is doing, he is timely, polite and fair. What more could you ask for in a contractor?

AJ painted our living area walls and trim and refinished our kitchen cabinets with meticulous care. He also cleaned our roof and spread anti-moss powder on it. He is is a conscientious worker and a pleasant person to work with. We are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend him highly.
