Called the company on emergency because my furnace needed cleaning. It has been well maintained however my regular furnace guy retired this year. George's could fit me in quickly. The tech was schedule for a 3 to 5 arrival slot. He showed up at 5 which they tack on 20% more for after hours. 2 hrs of work with him back and forth to his truck, talking with us and cleaning. The bill came to $2235 if paid with a check. It was $80 more if using a credit card. Very sad as I got a quote the very next day from Trombley for $398 for 2 cleaning visits. If you have an emergency I would not recommend George’s. They take advantage, and the tech didn’t even complete all of the work. I was told we still need to clean the metal flue that is attached to the chimney. Honestly I thought the tech priced it out wrong. I called the office the next day to ask for a detailed receipt, I figured they would correct it. Nope they cashed my check. I had to call multiple times to get a receipt. Finally after 6 days i got the emailed receipt which says cleaning, and I owe $0 balance. Never again! Beware and call somewhere else.
