Prestige Fence Company

The owner of Prestige Fence Company is George Tyll. He bought the company (July 1997) after 30 years as a radio and television news and sports broadcaster and executive in Columbus, OH; Memphis, TN; Orlando, FL and many smaller communities in between. As George says, "I went from Brooks Bros suits and Bugatti ties to Dress-for-less at Ross." But, as he was approaching the age of 50, he says that it was time to do things for himself and his family....although the hours are no less than they were in broadcasting. And that brought him to a "business for sale" ad in the classifieds and an already established fence company....Prestige Fence of Oviedo. Now the business is almost 25 years old. And while there is a wide gulf between broadcasting and fencing, both involves working with (customers) and managing people. And both occupations require a strong commitment to ethics and trust. We work hard on both values.
