After purchasing a house in 2015 with an existing hydronic radiant heating system, we immediately experienced issues with certain zones that were not calling for heat that would continually heat up alongside other zones that were. This issue became quite aggravating, getting too much heat where we didn't want it, and burning money on propane heating several rooms when we only wanted to heat one. Knowing very little about the technical aspects of a radiant heat system we called one professional after another to try and diagnose the problem. With many expensive quotes in hand and no guarantee that the problem would be fixed, I finally asked someone from my office for a reference (I work for an architectural firm). They immediately recommended Encon for both knowledge and quality of work. A technician from Encon was sent out immediately, and within 30 minutes of his visit he was able to diagnose the issue with certainty. Not only was he knowledgable about the workings of the system, he also spent the time to check that all other aspects of the system were up to par and working as they should be. Within a few days I received a description of the work that needed to be completed and a quote, which ended up being nearly a third of what the other "professionals" were trying to charge me. Furthermore, the diagnosis from the other professionals wouldn't have corrected the issue. An appointment was made to do the work, which was completed in a timely manner and at an extremely fair price. The problem is now fixed and the system is finally running the way it should be. I would highly recommend Encon for anyone with heating or cooling needs and they will be the only company I use in the future.

Encon is a highly professional outfit . They redesigned and installed our entire heating and air conditioning systems about 12 years ago and have maintained the systems ever since . Their technicians are very knowledgeable and they have strong office support in terms of making and managing service appointments on a timely basis.
